He probably couldn't do what he does without good training. But what he's able to do doesn't come from good training alone. He's been born with a unique gift that I'm glad that he's pursued and shares. I could listen to this 100 times and still not fully understand it. Love it.

no one is born being able to play music. with enough practice, you can learn to play anything

I'm not sure but I think this is the seventh different solo on this particular song I've seen Cory do. That's one of a few reasons how I know the Lord gave him something unique. The song being the very special vehicle that is, we have every one of these improvisations as their own statement. Like fingerprints, no two are alike. That's rare. But for each one to take the listener somewhere different every time is more proof positive that in spite of what may have been meant for evil in Cory's story early on, the Lord has taken it it and turned it into such good that his gift not only makes room for him, but for everyone around him. I was hoping to do something similar in my time, but it appears God had other plans in that way. I'm just happy I go to see it actually happen. Thank you for sharing this video.

Music is a subjective art form. Everyone has their own opinion which is why their is more that one popular artist in the World. Saying he is the best is your opinion.
