I almost feel like a bad person because I genuinely had a refreshing time for a marginally better part of 2020 because being non-STEM, my education didn't really asked a lot of me, I wasn't preparing for any sort of exam and on top of that, everything was going fine because the past few years before 2020 were not really great. For the first time, I felt that I wasn't left behind and could relate to others. Not a bit more than 2 years later and I was devastated in June 2022. I wish I could go back but that'd be not a good thing.

Don't forget seeing people dismiss the danger, be arrogant we have it covered, not take any precautions.. didn't need hindsight to know we could have prevented a lot of the worst of it if trump disband the response team, bring everyone back from abroad at once with no safety measures taken..

@@Marksman_12no I feel the same way. As a person in India, the educational system is so stupid and so demanding and it evaluates you on a bunch of things in such a way that even by some miracle it's useful, you've lost all interest in it. For the first few months I was just scared and disappointed that I couldn't do anything to help people, but it was the best year of my life after I realised to just focus on my own life. It was the happiest time I ever had because online school was a breeze and I could devote all my time to music. I just wish it had happened during tenth grade because everything came crashing down in 2022. I also wish we would go back to that time, just the lockdown part, because I would give anything for that peace back in my life.

Coronavirus miracle? Vietnam says all its infected patients cured Amid the rapid spread of the coronavirus outbreak around the world, Vietnam has announced that all 16 infected patients in the country were discharged from hospital and declared cured. As of Wednesday, all 16 patients, including the oldest who is 73, had been cured and discharged from the hospital.

I cannot tell you how relieving it is for someone to say "be a bit scared," rather than saying "don't panic." When you tell people not to panic, it can actually increase panic. But when you say "be a little scared, and here are some things you can do to protect yourself," that helps to manage expectations and promote healthy behavior. Brilliant writing! Although the dabbing at the end made me cringe.

As a Native American I'm betwixt and between about this plague business. I'd love nothing more than to see something cause you all to drop dead. Unfortunately it would probably be like the King novel The Stand where the govt's final solution for an outbreak was *Rome Falls* . They had operatives with vials sent to other world powers and released the virus in what a cheeky, sickly general called share and share alike. When the hantavirus hit the southwest Navajo shamans searched their records and knew of a cure but were dismissed by the CDC. Turns out the cure they devoloped was exactly the same as the Navajos, they were simply determined to find it out for themselves. You ppl just DON'T listen!

He didn't even show the clip of a father that'd gone through coronavirus testing and quarantine on Fox News. He was holding his 3 year old child while being interviewed and was constantly coughing throughout it and even took a drink out of his daughters water before giving it back to her to drink. It was bizarre and none of those Fox News hosts seemed to think it'd be a good idea to tell him to get his daughter away from him and not drink her water. They just let it all play out.

The song originally called "Ghen" (= Jealous) in Vietnam and was among top hits in 2017. Became a project with the help of the author of the song + the two original singers of the song and the Ministry of Health in Vietnam in order to make a catchy yet effective song that can remind citizens, especially the millennials, about maintaining hygiene as well as preventing Covid-19 from spreading.

I'm from the further future, it is in fact the worst country and the current hotspot of disease in the world. It doesn't matter if any other country gets well because every future wave will start with an American. The world is doomed.

This was released a month ago. At the time there were 15 cases in the US. Today there are 265,000 in the US and 6,700 deaths. There are over a million cases worldwide, and 58,000 deaths. In just one month.

Watching this again in 2023 has a weird feeling. I remember watching this when it came out. It came out Mar 1, 2020. In exactly two weeks will be the official start of the lockdown and the official beginning in this country. I remember being told we were going to be off work for 2 weeks and me thinking that sounded crazy. Lol. I couldn’t imagine it lasting that long. How ignorant were we all?
