There is litteraly no more point in promoting mira respirators. The wait list is so long u might as well make ur own cause by time u even made it to the end of the year to get through the wait period there already gna be shut down along with the mail. Thank god we were preppers. Hopefully this time ppl listen to is instead of ridiculing. Jokes on them if they dont.

This has been so frustrating. I've been telling family and friends since January to prepare. No one listened and made fun of me. Because I have adult kids, I took your advice from a different video and decided that to reduce my anxiety I needed to make them pandemic kits and mailed them. They made fun of me at first but not anymore. I will be in the hospital, risking my life to take care of sick people and it would be great if people helped us by trying to flatten the curve. The young people in Florida congregating for Spring Break are about to create a huge spread through our country. People ages 20-40 have been the biggest percentage of cases here in the US. On top of the fact that we have rampant obesity with comorbidities which will increase the amount of critical cases we get. I am worried for our country. We are not emotionally ready for what's coming in the next 2 months.

@S***** you are so sweet. Honestly it was City Prepping that made me realize I should plan for those I love but don't prep too. There is no way I could just watch them suffer just so I could gloat with an "I told you to prep. Too bad so sad". Glad you are helping your family. It is people like you taking care of family that will get us through this with our humanity intact. Our hospital does not want us talking directly on social media about the virus and the measures taken. Only what has been dispersed on media. All I can say is that I am so proud of where I work. They are really supporting staff and doing their best in these uncertain times to care for the community at large no matter what.

So no, it's not some "No big deal, just stay home and watch some TV." for the majority of Americans. People are already going hungry while our government twiddles their rich thumbs.

I have a grandson post leukemia that’s also got a new job at a grocery store. My husband is a trucker. Everyone is depending on him to bring supplies. I have chronic Lyme. Not to mention the hospital space, or ventilators, tests, etc that could've gone to someone else. Someone's mom or baby or husband. Or a frontline health care worker affected by them or one of the people they infected. From my understanding, a few medical workers already have to work without N95 masks due to the demand, plus covid testing kit numbers are stressed due to the production end trying to keep up. In Canada, they aren't testing everyone who's experiencing symptoms, they have to stay home and monitor their symptoms and dial 911 if they have chest pains or shortness of breath. The testing labs itself is already backed up due to amount of people that were able to get tests. Occasionally some cities only have 2 ventilators in their city, and who knows how many within the smaller towns. People are all inter-connected, stressing one area can affect another. How hard is it for people to be smart during this time.

@@AFuller2020 we haven't peaked yet in Ohio. Hospitals are at 70% already. Ignoring the problem will come back to bite you. I stay home, work remotely. I keep my evenings filled with films and reading. When I go to the store, I wash everything I put in my cart which I also wipe down, too. When I get home, I do it again. I have hand sanitizer in my car, home and home office. My knuckles are cracked from washing my hands so often. Maybe I shouldn't, but I feel at peace about it. I think it does help that I'm a loner and won't likely get cabin fever. I hope this changes Americans for the better. Thank you, Chris. 👍🌹

Good job. You are in the right path. A home made solution is to fill one part clorine and 2 parts water. Spray everything with that but your hands. I spray everything. Even my keys, lockers etc. It kills everything instantly. For me,a Dettol product is a good solution. A specific one that you mix it with water in different ratios and does the job for almost anything. Items, surfaces, wounds. We already have serious issues here in Greece. By the way all sterilise products have run out. In the very first week since it started here.

I started prepping about 3 years ago when I just recently became an adult. I didn't have the know-how or financial ability to make preparations at home for something like a pandemic. So I prepared for something like an earthquake by making an evacuation bag, worked out a lot more, and learned how to drive because of it. Generally, I left prepping alone and just focused on being healthy. About a few weeks ago I watched a video from Canadian Prepper about food shortages or hoarding coming up so I decided to make some space around my bedroom closet (in secret because parents hate this idea) and made a good supply of food stored in there. Thankfully I did it before the massive panic buying happened. I felt guilty for stopping my prepping habits before but now I'm never going to stop prepping until I pass away. Now I hope some of us became more woke with prepping because of this pandemic too.

This is what happens when you outsource all of your manufacturing overseas. China and others had tests and could ramp up quickly because they could manufacture the tests, the components to testing assays, PPE, and hospital equipment. And China's government was able to shut down cities and quarantine populations. The US has lost precious ground due to lack of infrastructure. This is DECADES of policies and desicions coming home to roost. The current administration is not to blame, it's BOTH parties.

I was about to switch to a new department and had to resign my contract, wait for the new contract ( already got the confirmation email ) when the new company filed for chp.11 as well as the Hotel. Now I am not entitled to get my healthcare and my unemployment benefits, which I paid taxes for the past 15 years. Then I got infected and now I'm sick... Nobody is going to take care of you, not even in the first simple stages. After this shit is over I will leave the EU for ever. The past 15 years I paid over 190.000 € in taxes. never used them for anything... now I need help and can't even pay my rent. So I will cancel the bank payments to keep the last of my cash to buy food. At least I've got no wife and kids to take care of. So NEVER TRUST THE GOV ! AND ALSO TAXATION IS THEFT !

I hear people mentioning triage without knowing what it actually means. They think it merely means prioritizing treatment of people in order of need or severity. IIRC, "triage" actually means sorting people into three groups: those who will survive without treatment; those for whom treatment will mean the difference between life and death, and; those who are going to die anyways and for whom treatment would be wasted. If this pandemic gets really bad, triage may end up meaning: mild cases told to go home and sleep it off; those who are younger and need ventilators but have a good chance to survive, and; old people with cormorbidities who will be put in the back room to die. Every younger person I see ignoring quarantine and partying I wonder who's grandparent they just sentenced to death.

Kyle Collins I think it will. I was never a prepper, but seeing the empty store shelves really woke me up. I always took it for granted that the system would continue to hum along, not giving a second thought to how many people are involved in the supply chain to get that package of toilet paper on the shelf so I can just pay for it and walk out the door. Going forward, I intend to slowly build up at least a three month supply of all food and dry goods that I use on a regular basis, rotate it, and replenish. I'd also like to move out of the suburbs into a more rural area where I can live off grid and develop survival skills like hunting, gardening, and living outdoors. I think this was a real wake up call for a lot of people. Hopefully, things won't get too bad this time around, so not too many people will have to suffer, and we can learn from the experience.

I'm italian under national quarantine, the italian government was one of the most proactive in Europe, started an immediate quarantine of the infected zones and then regional quarantines and after that a full country quarantine all of this in the arc of 7-10 days. Our health care system is almost at its breaking point, the Italian government built improvised hospitals and used military hospitals to manage the number of patients, yesterday dozens of military trucks had to move bodies from Bergamo, which is now the epicenter of the epidemic, to other cities because there was no more space for the corpses. Our doctors are doing 18 hours shifts and some of them are getting sick. Please be safe and don't underestimate this.

Job Loss, A Financial Recession, Hurricane, Tornado, Earthquake, even..... 🤦🏻‍♂️a Pandemic to keep your family safe enough to weather those issues better is a bad thing? Yes! Panic Shopping hurts every community. Prepping well in advance does not. It only helps take the pressure off of a major situation. The more people the are prepped in advance. The better every community is off during such an ordeal. “CHANGE MY MIND”. Yes It will most likely get worse in the us and globally before it gets better. James Regnier the coming destruction is not for us brother. You need to wake up and realize who you and your people are; and who you belong to. The suffering of our people was for a reason and for a time. And that time is up. And now judgment will come upon the whole earth, every single nation where we are scattered to will be cut in pieces. Your people are the same people who came out of Egypt and saw the judgment of TMH on their enemies. It was YOUR ancestors that came out under the leadership of Moses from the land of their CAPTIVITY. This is just the beginning. Our people are punished with captivity every time we turn from our god. This last captivity was to the four corners of the earth. But that time is up. And TMH is going to judge every single nation that dared lay a hand on his chosen. Repent. And sit still. Wait. On the salvation of our god.

Here in Spain we are in full lockdown, we cannot get out of my small town, thank god we were prepared and we have food and medical supplies for at least 6 months, just be careful. The worse dangers I encountred are: other unprepared people and neighbours in full panic mode, and the overflow in the hospitals (NHS and Private), the governement has passed a law that gives them the power to the police and army to requisite anything from the private health sector or Hotels to make space for hospital beds and respirators,, there are police controls everywhere, they control roads so anyone enters o gets out of here, BTW for those with the wrong ideas about Spain we are not a 3 world country, where I live is a rural area of the richest part of the country (Catalonia) and we are still struggling, one of my biggest concerns is that we don´t have second amendment here soo... the good news is that internet, electricity and water are still running, so just stay at home!, A final thought: I think some pople are blowing the event out of proportion due to the media (here is specially atrocious). I'm from Germany. We've had every non essential business closed since the start of the week, at least in my county. What you describe is exactly how it was here a week ago. People were and still are worried about the supply chain breaking down, but so far it hasn't. Grocery stores are still open and so are the super markets. You can get food and other essentials, but that's it. Every other store is closed, school and university is cancelled and we work from home now when possible. People didn't take the situation serious until it started affecting them. They went on with their usual day to day life, not caring about the dangers of spreading the virus or catching it. Then the public social life got cancelled and now we have people panic buying because they didn't prepare earlier. It doesn't seem like a thing that's going to affect you. It seems very, very far away until suddenly you have people in your neighborhood diagnosed with Covid-19 and usually bustling cities die out over night. The whole situation happens very fast, and if one is not careful they miss the shot so to speak. But as you said: It's not the end. Sure, hunkering down in your house sucks, but social distancing works so far, at least were it is actually done. It's not the end of our relationships either, we just have to adjust to contact our friends and family through different means.

I feel bad for the people who contend this will only last two weeks. Either they just don’t know any better or can’t handle the reality that this will likely last several months or longer. I wonder if some changes will be permanent. Hopefully some of them will be for the betterment of society.

I have neighbors who are even older than I am (89, and 78) I offered to make a grocery run, or to pick up meds for them if they needed me to. If you have older neighbors, show some love and offer to help them out if you can. This pandemic is a lot more serious for them (us?) A small gesture on your part could make a huge difference in their lives.

China is back to work. Asia is already getting over this. Factories are booming there right now, and the demand is huge here right now. It may be a bad 2-3 weeks ahead, but it is going to rebound hard! I am in logistics, and the steamship lines are concerned America’s ports, railways, and trucking industry is not equipped to handle the amount of freight coming our way. We are booming now, and are already planning to hire and lease more equipment in April. Logistics see the downturn first and the recovery first. So far, we haven’t missed a beat. It is all hands on deck.

Italy here: you are correct. We got hit big first in EU and we are still in it. Lombardy (north region where Milan is) is one of the richest and wealthy region of EU so not an average region. Has some of the most advance hospital and research centers in the world. We told all other countries in including Uk and US to get ready, the tsunami will come to you and many country ignored, people ignored it. So what Italy is doing is became a standard, just do it. Now they/you are scrambling to react. The first thing is to stay home, isolate yourself from others. Most people will get it and nothing happen but for some that have preconditions it will likely fatal. So avg age is decreasing, younger people are not immune to it and they are a vehicle for the virus. Everyone have the responsibility to take care of themselves and others. I agree with you, better to do extreme measures right now and not follow the spread, you most likely to be in a better shape to handle the pandemia.

Our household has been in self-quarantine for a week now. We only leave the house or our vehicles for necessary things, such as picking up the mail, getting a vehicle repaired and refueling our vehicles. On the rare occasions when we do leave our home or vehicle, we are careful to keep our distance from others, to use disinfecting wipes inside our vehicle and to wash our hands thoroughly just as soon as we return home. We have not yet had a reason to wear any of those N-95 masks that we have stored for years, but if we have to use a restroom in a crowded truck stop when traveling or wait in a crowded waiting room when we bring a family member to an urgent medical visit, we will probably be wearing masks and nitrile gloves. Maybe even non-vented goggles. Better safe than sorry.

Thank you for doing this video. I am 61 years old. I was diagnosed with cancer in 2016. I was doing really well until yesterday, I started passing blood. I have lower abdominal pain. I contacted the hospital in my area to see if I could be seen in the emergency room. I was told to call 811 to have an assessment done by a nurse. Nobody is allowed to go to the emergency room unless they have first gone through the 811 assistance program. They determine if you can or can not present yourself at the hospital. The problem is that the nurse can only return my call in 57 hours. They are very busy right now. I was also told that all procedures have been cancelled at the hospital. So, I don't know when and if I am going to get the care I need to look into this problem. I fear that my cancer has returned and that it will be the end of me. Thank you, China.

Go search "自制口罩" (diy mask) on Google. During lock down in China, people are not allowed to enter supermarket/pharmacy/public transport/shopping mall of they Don't wear a mask (some residential complex do not allow anyone leave or enter the premise without a mask - but many people simply don't have surgical mask but need to shop for essentials. Just look at those photos, the diy process is self explanatory: any cloth or even underwear are used for making a mask so that EVERYONE on the street cannot cough out potential virus into common space. Yes it looks embarrassing... But that was what the Chinese were doing in addition to social distancing. In my opinion, US UK Italy..., measures are just too soft to lower the curve significantly. PS. I think we will have an outbreak of 17-27 yr old patients. On social media, they'll cry about the cost of health care (spent $$$ on vaca), the lack of bed availability (too many cohorts ahead of them), and best of all - how unfair it is that they aren't prepped. Aren't babied by mom/grandma due to social distancing, aren't pitied because they brought it on themselves and aren't able to get AOC or Bernie to change the law for their benefit. The one thing they won't ever understand is that it was completely, entirely and absolutely their own fault. No one taught them to be responsible for themselves. If this was a shooting war, they'd probably be shot by now. And supposedly, they are our future. God in heaven, please help us.
