Hello Mr. Carpenter. I am an aspiring aviator at age 25 (leaving the ungodly academia; now 7 years of under/graduate school) so I'm spending a lot of my time watching these videos to understand the language if you will, the laws, the insides of the career, etc. I've been filling a scribbler with notes ha! I was hoping to get your insight on what you believe to be best, Mainstream airlines, Corporate, Cargo OR Other! Obviously, when I obtain a mere 500-1500 hours beggars cannot be choosers, though I was hoping to get your professional opinion! Cheers from Cold, Canada.

I'm so used to the symmetry flight deck that seeing this older flight deck makes me really appreciate just how far we've gone in condensing the cockpit and giving the pilots more breathing room. I've never had a chance to fly any of these older Gulfstreams!

Really great flight, Shaun, and you did a super job as Pilot In Command. Good job on the takeoff and landing, too. Boy, Jon was really relaxed in his cool socks, but he did a great job as your Co-Pilot. 😂😂. I’m sorry to mention this again, but I still can’t help but be amazed at how well you and Jon work together. To me, along with the flight and all that goes with it, I find your interaction to be the most enjoyable. Thanks for introducing Jon’s wife to us. She is lovely, and they make a really great couple. Makes us feel like we know him more personally. Look forward to you introducing us to your wife one day. I liked the camera views, as well as the PIP during takeoff and landing. Great job on the video editing. Look forward to the continuation of this flight and later flights.

Nice video and flight although we never got a review on the BBQ! Ask because that's my favorite part of TX, other than the music in Austin, and that looked delicious. Nice designer socks Jon, and she must have dressed you for the flight? ;) It is nice you brought your lovely wife to fly with you on these trips, and will she be working with you guys more in the future? Love the split screens you do at times, so we get a view out the window too, and the airport diagrams and arrow. Couldn't spot that flock of birds though, and good you keep track of them. I grew up in San Antonio then worked in Austin for 14 years before moving north to Wisconsin. All my family and friends are still there. Really fun town but getting way too crowded. Surprised you could get into Franklins. I was there to see some buddies over Christmas and they had just rebuilt Franklins after major fire damage. Next time go hit the Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood. It's about 5 miles down the same road from my old home. Really cool setting and the BBQ sauce is super low calorie.....NOT...but tastes great! I really do miss that place. Then you could hit Voodoo Donuts and "Get VD in Austin" as their bumper sticker says. Anyway, as a new Instrument Pilot I really enjoy watching how it's done right. Keep them coming guys!

Corporate pilot flying nice jets sounds like a great life! Enjoyed the video, thanks guys and safe travels!
