Sean and John, I really enjoy your videos and I think I have seen all of them so far. I have subscribed and am a aviation fan. I wish I had gotten my license to fly long time ago. At 72 and with my health, I live the pilot life through you two. Ken

Great Video like always! Love the uniforms of the day! John looks like hes gonna force himself into a street basketball game right when he get off the plane. Sean looks like he is grabbing his fishing gear and getting on a boat at the same time. The human side of you guys makes it great while still being completely professional in your jobs. Awesome!

You guys have such good chemistry. I love when you suggest a check and John says “Please” If every pilot could get right seat with a mentor like John, that would be great. It’s obvious why he grabbed you Shawn. Just a good combination of two good guys. You keep it serious, but keep it simple. Great ride guys ! Safe skies !

hey ya all... long time "watcher" and new subscriber. It is amazing to see just how methodical the flight is. Check this, check that, take off, check, check, land, check, check....Even is awful weather, you plan and plan and check and check. Just like clock work. Love it. Ok, hats... Who is for what sports team and why. GO!

At 15:05 during speed checks, nutcrackers checked. Translation please! Love your channel
@CorporatePilotLife
@CorporatePilotLife 6 жыл бұрын
The speed checks part means that we have verified we are under the speed limitation for whatever selection was requested. For instance, flaps 10 has a limit of 250 knots. So when Jon asks for flaps 10, I verify that we are less than 250 and call "speed checks", then move the flap handle. As for the nutcracker, I'm going to refer you to a Tech video I did a while back on exactly that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaesc6CJos1shaM

EXCELLENT video and excellent flying. First time watching these two fly, but love the cockpit communication. And also shows all the goings on that occur in instrument flying. From the age is inevitable department, I worked that sector almost 50 years ago, although probably not as a journeyman. I went to High Altitude shortly after I was certified in Low. I remember almost nothing about it except that NEA (NAS Glynco) was still open and served as approach control. That facility is now occupied by FLETC (Federal Law Enforcement Training Center).

Shaun. I have two quick things. First: Have you and John ever thought about showing up to the plane, say about an hour earlier then normal, sitting down in the back and doing a Live Q&A. I’m not sure if KZbin has that feature, but maybe Facebook Live if you guys have a FB channel. Doing a Live Q&A would be freaking awesome for us fans. And second, please tell me that while she was in maintenance this last month, that they put back the missing screw in the glare shield track that’s right about your seat. It drive me crazy it’s missing. LOL. I had a chance last Friday (5/18) to hang out in a G550 all day. I know a corporate pilot on one that was in town. After learning how to start the APU, engines and generally learn what a lot of the buttons are, and do, it was supper cool to go back to some of your videos and watch them again. This time around I was like “oh I know what that does”, “oh yeah, that button is for....”. Mad respect to you guys. Saying I’m super jealous of what you guys get to do everyday is a huge understatement! Keep the videos coming.
@CorporatePilotLife
@CorporatePilotLife 6 жыл бұрын
I cant believe you noticed that missing screw...but yeah, they replaced it. That's too funny. As far as the Q&A part, we have actually discussed that quite a bit lately. We are definitely planning on doing it, we just have to get the logistics together first. KZbin does have a live feature, but I've never used it, so we have to do a little testing first.
