Hi Don Why are you useing a tail wheel servo, the tail wheel on the corsair was free moving as far as I can see, thats how Im building mine, all steering was done by the rudder, or can you correct me?, Roy

You're not wrong. The full scale had a castoring tail wheel, as did most Heavy Metal warbirds. But they didn't steer with the rudder, they steered with wheel brakes. The 1st time you try to taxi your tail dragger in a 5MPH wind, you will find that you cannot turn down wind. You must have a steerable tailwheel. Also, the full scale had a locking tail wheel for takeoff and landing. They would taxi into place, line up on the runway, then lock the tailwheel. The pilot would not unlock the tail wheel until back on the ground, at the end of the landing rollout. You need to put a steerable tailwheel on your model.
