I agree. I'd like to reference what I'm hearing with what I'm seeing to understand the big picture better. This is one of the reasons Ninja Nerd is so good.

"Glucocorticoids can inhibit the activity of the cells that are used to promote connective tissue production". That is a lightbulb moment right there! It would have made so much more sense in lectures if my teacher had explained it in that way and how that related to connective tissue disorders. Thank you!

Hello. I am after a kidney transplant, I take immunosuppressive drugs Mycofit and Advagraf and steroids Encorton. Is it necessary to take steroids together with immunosuppressants? What is the relationship between them? What would happen if I stopped taking Encorton (causes major side effects)?

How many calories are you consuming per day? I recommend tracking that and responding here, I can help you gain weight without use of corticosteroids.

Why you infront of the illustration
@a.stuckmann4313 жыл бұрын
Potentially a good topic to discuss. too bad you are standing infront of the drawing the whole time :( also word overload in those 5 Minutes. would be nice to have the info to look at maybe some sort of drawing while talking instead of hand movements, a nice little fat tissue drawing with arrows etc. to connect the image with the idea you are trying to convey :)I'd rather watch a 20 min video incl. some sort of visible image than desperately trying to see whats behind you :D thank you

There is this article on CNN about how Indian woman use ‘steroids’ to lighten their skin and that it causes “hirsutism”. I’m confused, 1.) I thought hirsutism is due to excess androgens 2.) Doesn’t corticosteroids, which I assume is the steroid they are referring too, decrease ACTH production and as a result decrease androgen production from the reticularis?
