@@heyhowyoudoing8120 Nah. I can't stay mad at Barlog sensei I was just disheartened because at the time I didn't realize we would get Ragnarok. They were telling us this was it so.... I'm good now. Cory said himself that they told him his DLC was too ambitious to be just that, and so I believe we'll get that in Ragnarok and I'll be okay with that being the finale. There will be chaos🔥

Cory Barlog is such an amazing human being. I finished God of War last week (got a playstation 4 for that specifically) and after thinking about it non-stop ever since, I gotta say it's my favourite game. Cory and the team put so much love and care, details, lore, emotion etc. into this game and you can absolutely feel it. I can't think of any game that feels so grand and great, while constantly having an emotional edge and potency. I just want to say: Thank you Cory, please take the time you need for the sequel! (And i'd also love it if you kept doing podcasts, because i've literally watched all of them on youtube)

Going through God of War a third time with New Game+ on the hardest difficulty, and the game is STILL amazing to play. Hands down deserves all the GOTY awards.

Corey is one of the last Directors left in the gaming industry doing whats right by the gamers and the community. He launched God of War as complete as possible and it is one of the best games I have ever played. I pray he continues this series with the same intent. Best dude in the gaming industry.

The more I think about GOTY... thinking about Celeste, GOW, Red Dead 2, Smash Bros Ultimate, Dead Cells, Spider-Man and all the other games I’ve played this year.. God of War edges out Red Dead 2 for me because of the history. I’ve played and finished every God of War game on Day One. It’s was just incredible from start to finish. Now this year is another story.. Kingdom Hearts 3 and Resident Evil 2 Remake in the same week. Not to mention the rest of the year. INSANE.

Honestly, I hope they take another 5 years for the next installment. In a few interviews with Cory he said there was quite a bit that got cut that he wanted to make it into the game. I hope since now they have the gameplay and actors around they can really put something awesome into the next game. The Stranger battle where their strength literally pushes the landscape is what I want more of and I hope they put more into the longevity of the game. Instead of 20-25 hours of story maybe push the envelope to 35-40. They have more than enough monsters and gods to make sure it doesn't go stale. Congrats God of War team. You deserved it! Excited to see whats next!

@@robardian3697 I have to disagree here. Easy Allies has such a noticeable and genuine humility compared to kinda funny. I can't help but notice or interpret so much of kinda funny's enthusiasm and positivity (Greg in particular) as being "forced" or inserted just for the sake of trying to be a 'welcoming and always happy community that never has a negative moment' or something along those lines. Michael Huber is the pinnacle of someone who is a genuine hype man with real and honest emotion that never feels fake. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate kinda funny or wish that they fail, but I just can't connect with them in any way similar to the way I connect with easy allies. Side note though, the way that kf reacted to and treated Colin right after that tweet he made was pretty messed up and a total stab in the back to one of their "best friends". I just felt sad for everyone involved, and it showed me some of the true colors of a few guys in kinda funny.

I am so glad gow of war franchise was rebooted, and went in another direction from the other games. Imagine, if the new god of war was like the older games, the game would've been bash so much for not doing anything different from those games which came before it. The original god of war 2, 3 were amazing games, but the franchise was starting to run of steam with the same hack and slash gameplay. The game needed to go in a different direction for sure. I am so glad corey and the team at santa monica took a chance and give us some fresh and new.

I'm glad God of War won game of the year. From what I've seen Red Dead Redemption 2 it has excellent acting, a fantastic story and gorgeous visuals. Too bad about the gameplay though.

@@axelstone3131 The first time I played Red Dead Redemption 2 I got to the mission early in the game where you have to help your friend who's in the hotel. Instead of going straight I decided to go around the corner and up through the left way but because I didn't go straight the mission failed immediately. There's also the issue of every animation in the game being so tediously realistic. It takes an obnoxious amount of time to do anything in Red Dead Redemption 2. I'm not saying the game is terrible and I'm not saying that I won't go back to it when I have more time. I'm just saying that I don't feel like it's as good as it can be.

@@dougmcquaid147 The game ruins its own economy and camp system by giving you almost infinite money around chapter 3, and all missions can only be tackled in a certain way, destroying the purpose of a massive open world game. You have little player choice, despite the game acting like you do. The story and characters are amazing, the world is amazing. However, its game design is flawed. God Of War's biggest flaw is the lack of content in terms of big bosses (and some elements being cut from the game). That doesn't make the game that much worse through. RDR2's game design does fundamentally hinder the game on the other hand.

Precision platformers (and 3d platformers especially) are really great for kids to play. You don't want to offload the mental exertion by automating the movement at all or creating obstacles that don't demand a certain level of attention and dexterity. Alternatively they could just play catch...but Mario is cooler.
