I love Cory’s viewpoint on change within the DNA makeup of a franchise. There are so many iconic game franchises that have fallen within the vein of mundanity and stagnation because the game developers simply refuse change. Halo is a prime example of that in my opinion, and I’m hoping that 343 Industries matures Master Chief and delves deeper into his character in Halo Infinite. God of War is the gold standard of change done right, and I’d love to see more game franchises chance that exact same risk so that they can evolve and become even better than they would have been otherwise.

A few years closer to the follow up! My guess is 2022 or 23. One could hope for 2021 since you gotta think that now that they have the engine built and going they can just create more content now. Who knows how Corona might be affecting its development though.

Just wanted to throw this out there, I play games almost religiously. God of War 2018 is, to date, still one of the greatest games and most enjoyable experiences I've ever had. Absolutely incredible.

Don't worry,if Faye is gonna be in GOW 5.....And if they talk about Kratos with Faye in the past.... Maybe they might add a QTE that is just like the "minigames"

I'm glad Elle got to do this interview. She is such a fan of God of War! She even "lied" (during a PS Access Challenge) that she was entering an Axe Throwing competition based on her love of this game. :-) -- I really appreciate all of PSAccess. But this was an awesome opportunity for 1 of them... The fact they chose Elle shows they all knew and respect eachother. (From my outside opinion) -- Cheers Elle!
