The hotdog and pizza from Costco or Sam’s club will always be superior. With condiments and a soft drink you can’t go wrong.
@captainyossarian388 Жыл бұрын
Any sausage or dog is going to be boring without some condiments. You got no ketchup, relish, or mustard in the fridge, man? What are ya doin? 🤣 Thoroughly impressed with the sesame seed bun. Happy you liked the dog, I always get one when I'm there, sooo good. Mmm, I might go tomorrow. It'll be nuts but I'll only be going for a dog and a pizza.

I saw a very slight difference in then when you cut it. I like the idea of a sesame bun for a hot dog. As crazy as it sounds, I've never had that. For the price point, it definitely was visually appealing to match the taste score.

The buns suck by the time you get home with them, I always ask for mine not steamed unless I am eating it right there. Pro tip for at home, slather on some Keens hot mustard and diced onion. It's a game changer.

Both could use some spices, especially the polish sausage. We have both in America. In my opinion the regular hot dog taste kinda like a Ball Park brand hot dog. It’s average, but missing something. The polish sausage has potential but again needs more flavor.

You made the mistake of cutting into the Polish dog to do a reveal. They are whole pig sausages...snout, ears, feet,Timex watch, slippers and tweed vest. Everything goes into the grinder. I have had the regular Costco hot dog once, though. A big hot dog with a lasting reputation.

Are you kidding..1.50!! That's a great price and for the size of them. And I think you said it included a drink. Do you think the Polish sausage would have been better if they were cooked differently like on a grill? And what about if it had some toppings like onions, chili or sauerkraut. Would that have improved the flavour?

I think it would need different spices inside.

i find the polish dogs are better if they are seared in a pan or the oven for a few minutes first. the polish doesnt taste as good in the boiling method costco uses to cook its hotdogs.

Costco is getting stingier, and stingier, to keep it at $1.50. My last one, the hot dog was streamed together with the bun shut. 🤮 It's less personable with the self-serve kiosks. And they give you attitude now, if you ask for toppings, that are in limited supply.
