In celebration of 2019 Black History Month, Cosumnes River College welcomed Dr. Milton Mills to engage a culturally affirming presentation about the historical roots of health inequality, the physiological impact of food intake and our undeniable power to take back control of our health destiny, especially for our most vulnerable populations. He shared practical ways to tap into this power while celebrating culture and history, to improve our quality of life and take care of each other and our planet.
