Eager shoppers, in search of the next bargain, are unaware that they are about to be the first victims of a biological attack, that will be spread throughout the country, and across the world.
By the time symptoms of the virus are noticed, it's already too late to prevent the pandemic. Terror ensues. Borders are closed. Streets, towns, and eventually whole cities are quarantined.
Public services like transportation, electricity and water facilities begin to break down, along with supply-chains for food and medicine. Followed closely behind, the gradual collapse of the government.
The Division story is supported by a backdrop of real world cities, and no detail is spared. Given how lifelike these cities look, you can’t help but wonder:
Is an attack like this possible?
Would it destroy society so quickly?
Could the division story actually happen in real life?

*UPDATE: 18 Mar 2020* For those of you who didn't notice, I made this video a month or two before the COVID-19 outbreak, and at the time had no relation to what was about to become. It was just unfortunate timing on my part. I apologise to those of you who have been upset by the content of this video, given the current climate. But this scenario has a few considerable differences, including a mortality rate of around 90% - where COVID-19 is sitting at 3.4% according to WHO (at the time of writing this). dont fall for those ""official" number, coronavirus containt 4 strain of HIV-1 or very similar RNA sequence. this will crash your immune system, then flu viruses and other virus and bacteria thake over, hence the peumonia symptom. there are no cure for HIV-1. basicaly the coronavirus is only a airborn carrier.. for the "special" delivery ive been calculing the "true" death rate for weeks using death/recovered and constantly get 40-60 % death rate, italy, france.. etc sometime its even more than that and sometime lower... u cannot use the positive case / death to calculate the ratio, those open case will either fall into death or recovered status eventualy and thats where the low number come from. and now they are also seeing recovered poeple that they say are "reinfected", pretty sure its just their immune system crashing again due to HIV. this must be also the reason the only med effective for that virus is HIV med.. yup.. we r so screw.... heh Division IRL very soon good luck everyone.

@@magicalmagicmagician5223 sorry, i got portland mixed up with different town. but regardless of whether or not floyd resisted, its doesn't change the fact that he was unlawfully killed, and there are protesters that are trying to do things peacefully, but there are some people who are taking advantage of their protests and using it to commit crimes, they're not one in the same. and corruption has nothing to do with it, george floyd was killed because a police officer put his entire body weight on floyd's neck for eight whole minutes, which shows that its not corruption we need to stop, but rather the way cops handle certain situations so that we can prevent anymore unlawful deaths.

Apologize for the late post, I, however, felt I needed to comment on this one. Great video. Though I somewhat disagree about what you said about a long incubation time being a weakness for a pathogen. Now mind you I'm not a doctor, but I seem to remember there being two types of incubation time, referred to as the Incubation Period and the Latency Period. The Incubation period is the period from when you are first infected to the point that you start to display visible symptoms. The Latency Period is the time it takes for the host to become infected to actually infect other people. My argument is simply that if we look beyond a high fatality rate (that one is a given) and you wanted a pathogen to deal major damage, having a very long incubation period combined with an exceptionally short latency period could actually work to the pathogen's advantage. It would be allowed to spread uncontrollably for weeks (perhaps months) unnoticed to every corner of the globe, as no one would display any early symptoms, and because it can actually infect people long before the first symptoms start to manifest. Though it would have probably been more effective globally to release the virus, using remote-controlled air dispersal units or something similar at say an airport to maximize the spread, rather than infect dollar bills in a grocery store. If the pathogen were to have say a max incubation period of 42 days and a latency period of 4 days with a near 90% infection rate, then it isn't at all unthinkable that a scenario similar to that of the Division could be made a reality. It's scary af to think that the only things standing in the way of a person developing a pathogen capable of causing a global pandemic is time, capital, clearance, a proper education and know-how as well as the right equipment. Just my two cents.

Im in a state of jaded acceptance have a friend who works in virology who awhile back told me this is possible too, but if we all remember the ebola paitent that got all the way to (i forget if it was Houston or Dallas) back in 2014-15. The whole city as expected shut down. Youd think disease prevention would be the worlds foremost concern. Heck id prioritize it over climate change.

It’s certainly a plausible scenario, which is why I think this is on gaming I.P. That has so much potential. I know it’s being developed as a movie but I think it should be a series on a streaming site. It would allow writers to flesh out characters and build a whole story from the ground up based on the premise and the world built on this game. I can imagine each season being a new city with new agents.

Loved it, like every video. I hope they didn't give you a very unavoidable invitation to experience waterboarding at Guantanamo Bay. That being told, I like to also prepare a bit for similar scenarios. Mostly learning useful stuff and looking for maps of the city and knowing how to stock materials.
