The test needs to be taken to another step. You need to send through the mail 10 samples of Scotch whiskies to someone that has in their collection the same whiskies then they compare the nose from the samples you send with the bottles they have in their collection and see if they match or if the smell from the samples has diminished in the process.

this is probabaly the best thought out idea in relation to making this go but needs some refining. No need to do the full shipping to another person, can just ship it back to Crowded Barrel the time in the mailing vehicle and time spend in the warehouse, in addition to the heat and or cold affecting the quality of the smell. let the smellers rest in 90 degree weather or sub 32 degrees to simulate resting on someones porch for a while.

Regarding the cigar humidor, guys, all your cigars are cello wrapped and the cabinet you have is largely glass. To get a humidor with a rich, potent aroma of cigars, you need a well seasoned, fully cedarwood lined humidor filled with unwrapped, rich smelling cigars. Being in the US, a good suggestion would be to fill a pre-seasoned small desktop humidor with Padrón 2000s which have all had the cellophane removed. The cedarwood lining can't be too new as it takes a long time to lose it's own strong cedar aroma, and then it will take a good 12 months or more for the humidor lining to absorb plenty of the cigar oils/aromas. If you want any extra tips on this or anything else I'm on I to the G as "the cigar resource". Big love from the UK!

I worked for a medical device company that was developing an esophageal cancer detection device using that material. They tie a string around it, encapsulate the sponge in a gelcap, then the patient swallows it. The capsule digests and then the sponge grows (like the dinosaur in a pill bath toy). The doctor then pulls the string slowly up and out. The sponge collects cells from the esophagus and is sent off to a lab.

I bought my first irish and Scottish whiskey this weekend only because of your guys recommendations and wow my mouth and mind exploded. I went full force with the Ardbeg wee Bestlie and Redbreast 12 yr. im hooked now and looking forward to trying others types in the future.
