This is some freestyle played over the arrangement from David Ball's Hot Water Pipe. Troy Cook Jr. plays tele in that band. His honking tele and his licks are so very hot that I felt the need to try it out.

I'm a new Twanger. Been playing rock and metal on my Gibsons since I was about 13 but I got me an old USA Tele a few weeks ago and I have really gotten into this whole chicken picking thing. It's renewed my interest in playing guitar like nothing I've ever tried to learn before. This video is awesome too. This is some really good playing. Rock music is great of course. I'll always love it but I have a new appreciation for this kinda stuff.
