you know, deep down in your heart and brain, this verdict was 100% bs and everyone was brainwashed by biased documentary. lets pretend the following. Beata was able to successfully convince the hospital to give Maya the potentially lethal dose of ketamine that was requested. The ketamine ends up killing Maya. The Kowalski's end up suing the hospital for prescribing a lethal dose of ketamine. in this pretend scenario, be honest, who would you back in the lawsuit, the Kowalski's or the hospital? The standards you guys are holding the hospital to are unreal. Its literally a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation. Plus, Maya getting off the Ketamine appears to have improved her life drastically. Everything points to the hospital being correct and the Kowalski's being wrong.

And she was right - not in the sense that she should have died, she absolutely should NOT have and she deserves to be with her family today - but she was right in the sense that not even a week after her death the hospital finally let Maya see a specialist that confirmed her diagnosis that her parents had told the hospital she had this entire time and she was finally released to her dad. They really were just waiting for her to dissapear in some shape or form. And through her sacrifice her daughter is now safe and at home where she belongs even if that means she cant be there.

I hope new laws are passed because of this case. It took me 20 some years to get my correct diagnosis, and this really shines a light on how some doctors have become so nonchalant and judgemental of people simply looking for answers. GOOD! In my opinion, they overdid it with this family. There are so many other children who are abused that don't get any help.

This is so sad as someone who’s life was saved at All Children’s Hospital in 1994 before the John Hopkins transition…. it is terrible what happened to this family and young girl. Shame on you JOHN HOPKINS! The medical care in Florida has gone so far downhill not just in this case but in general.

I agree with that. I was born and raised in Florida and I don't know what is going on. I do know the Doctor 's that I had growing up we're the best. But of course they have either pass away or they have retired. I noticed a lot of things have changed in Florida!! But I do believe they should keep a better eye on Hospitals and medical physicians. Not all Children are abuse, and I believe Child services show be investigated to, because they say that they are there to keep families together but that's a lie!! They should be Ashamed of themselves for what they have done!!! Maya God has sent his Angel's to watch over your family and your Mom Spirit is right there with you.🙏❤

So happy to see these comments positive toward this family. It has been shocking to see all the comments that lack compassion the past few week. I hope all those people watch this video to see the reactions of these children. The reactions they had were not in relation to the cash awards but to the validation that this horrible thing happened to them

@@joowusu727 i remember one of the uncovered texts from one of the doctors to another doctor after Beata’s death. Something along the lines of “i knew this would happen, it has happened in previous cases, WE DID THE RIGHT THING FOR THE CHILD” so driving her mother to suicide was THE RIGHT THING?? Horrible horrible people with no compassion.

Thank God. I wish Maya love and peace going forward. Nothing can bring her mother back, but at least she has been validated. I am sorry to say that hospitals, many nurses, and doctors, for some reason, have the holier than thou mentality. I have seen horrific and gruel treatment in hospitals along with the manipulation of family members to make decisions the Dr or nurses want, whether or not it is in the best interest of the patient. God Bless you Maya and your family.

I spent several years at All Children’s Hospital growing up, for two different illnesses and medical procedures. My parents would stay in the Ronald McDonald house nearby because we lived miles away. I never experienced anything close to the damages this poor girl & her family has endured, but the case certainly hits home. I’m so incredibly happy for her, her brother and her father and I hope they can wholly heal. Blessings to this jury.
