I like Dimir a lot too. Ironically, I've been playing a similar deck to this while main-decking Necromentia, which lets me yeet their Ugin/Omnath/ECD/Scute/Felidar Sanctuary.

Salty Omnath and Ugin player is the highlight of this video for sure.
The new optional lands are the best thing that ever happened to MtG. In fact, I always thought there should be an additional rule: any card can be played face-down as a land producing one of the colours of its casting cost (with maybe restrictions to only first turns or coming tapped, or some varieties of that)

@@apophenic_ My solution in our homebrew group is to have lands in a separate draw pile. When you draw a card you choose either the land or the non land pile. Of course it changes the balance quite a bit but for fun & casual decks it works very well.

The Crawling Barrens kill at the end was actually really good. You kept your opponent distracted with your counters and planeswalkers while buffing a land slowly to 1-shot him. I didn't see it coming and I was watching from your POV

The land base for three color that has no triome is pretty bad right now. Esper only got good when ravnica allegiance completed the shock land cycle with the friendly lands.

@@FlopGaze Sure. Keep Lotus Cobra and Omnath off the board. Use Necromentia on Cobra, Omnath, or Uro. Ghostly Pilferer nets cards from Uro and Escape to the Wilds. Kinda new to magic... does it always suck right after rotation? I only see the Black rouge deck, Omnath and the occasional cycle deck. It’s really stale. If I try playing anything else I get pummeled by one of the aforementioned decks. With the exception of that god damn adventure deck, pre rotation, post teferi ban Arena was great. Felt good to project my whining into the world.

Pretty sure black unconditional board-wipes are the exception not the rule. White is the board-wipe colour. Damnation was originally released in a set that intentionally messed with the colour pie

Epic Downfall hits CMC 3 or greater, not Power 3 or greater, and Torbran is CMC 4.

Cool deck and all CGB, but did you know that if you mutate a creature on a Scute Swarm, and then you hit your 6th land, then the mutated creature will be copied? And it will keep the copy effect and keep making more copies. Not of the Scute swarm, but of the mutate creature!!!!
