There is a town in northern Texas called Nocona. That is where the nikona boot factory is or was. As a long haul truck driver I had stopped in there a few times but have not been in there for years. I have several pair of Nocona's and absolutely love them.

Love to see an Alvie’s boot! I have 2 pairs and find them a diamond in the rough. Not enough people wear or review Alvie’s and they are some of the highest quality I’ve seen out there for the price range.

I recently picked up some El Dorado ropers for pretty heavy daily use. I absolutely love them. I can go all day in them and my feet feet great. Also great to know I can get them repaired and never really have to replace them.

Nocona, Tony Lamas and Double H are in my stable. Been finding lots of used boots at garage and estate sales. Been wearing boots for over 40 years.

I have owned several different styles and brands of boots. Mostly Dan Post, however I have a pair of Alvies "Comal" in black, and absolutely love them. I also have a pair of Alvies "BFG" (Billy F Gibbons) boots on pre order.

I LOVE your cowboy boots, Gary Thomas!! I've LOVED cowboy boots since I was little! I have a broken-in brown pair with a more pointed toe. There a slight darker shade of brown than yours. I wear mine with loose jeans, jerseys and even shorts!! I LOVE the stitching on the toe of cowboy boots. I think it makes them stand out more. I LOVE how they make me look taller. I'm 5'10" and I wear size 12. Cowboy boots need their own paid holiday!! :) :)

I've known a couple of people who were close to me that have ordered Tecovas boots. They were both very pleased. One of them has a very wide foot and sometimes has a difficult time getting comfort in a boot. But he was very pleased with his Tecovas boots. They cut out the middle man so the prices are more reasonable. You ought to check them out. 😉👍

My first pair of boots of the style was cody james. Rigorous abuse. An look just right. 12 d fit great. I am 12 wide or 13 sneaks. You are right. For the average roughian they are verrrrrry comfortable too. And I love seeing the all leather boot in its entirety as I slip it on from stocked heal to the soft insert. Great

You honestly need to use cedar boot trees. Those boots are being ruined when you let them dry wet and or damp without any inner support.
