i love the Yellow ontop and blue on the bottom. have that on mine and it looks so good with that. (pacific paint). gives me happy retrofuture, maybe a lil synthwave vibes. i love it!

Mojave is fine, favorite is proably sapphire or default though, the pacific one reminds me of an airline paint scheme. Also mojave is (moh-hah-vee) for the record.

Gotta say, I really like the Pacific paint. It's bright and fun. So many ships in this game are just drab boring dark or white colours. Give me more bright fun colours. Definitely going with Pacific if I do use my Starlancer CCU.....if I can find someone that has access to it to buy it for me. lol I do like the Mojave too though. Very classy. Disappointed in the Sapphire. The blue I thought would be a deeper blue.

I'm really glad the Sapphire paint wasn't pay-walled behind concierge. That's my favorite. I didn't like the Pacific paint as it looked on the website, but in game it's not bad.

I do like the black and white of the SnowCap but find it sad, that they used White for the separation between colors. You barely notice it it up close and cannot see it from afar. They should have used a color with more contrast e.g. Yellow like the Empyrean paint for the Misc Hull-A.

If they had made that ridged roof section glass or the bottom section glass they would have knocked it out of the park. I like the ship enough to buy it, but I think they missed an opportunity to make it great.

@@stepstv4466 IN SC lore windows are made of the same material as the hull, just transparent. So they aren't a structural weakness. Of course that makes me ask why ship manufacturers don't just make most of the ship transparent for maximum visibility.

Just FYI, Mojave is pronounced moh-hah-veh. It's a desert in the USA, that's why the color is sandy.

Wish my hangar lighting wasn't so glaringly bright, washes out any detail. They are all very decent paints, and always look better in the hangar, as opposed to the images CIG have on the paints page.

Two (Pacific and Mojave) are Chairman's Club exclusive paints. You should be able to see the other three with Sapphire being Citizencon exclusive so probably will disappear eventually?

Kinda disappointed by the Mojave paint. The promo pic was more of a sandy tan with red highlights. This one is much more metallic and missing the highlights. I'm surprised by how much I like the Pacific paint. It's very...happy? But overall, I think the bare metal is the best. It really fits with the cargo elevator for that WWII bomber vibe.

The hanger lighting is so misleading with these paints. The first looks awesome as classic military olive drab......but as soon as he was out in the sun, it became a totally different color all together. The others keep teasing me with the dark color with only being half of the ship.....I want the whole ship dull black....... I recall half of this game's play is avoiding the wacko human pirates.........eh? So if I can't have "Olive Drab" or all "Satin Black", I'll stick with the classic WWII B-17 buffed metal look. I am a WWII history buff so this ship and the little bro Freelancer's shape and curves take me back. (not to mention the classic 1978's Battlestar Galactica Cylon face windshield) Especially love the tail end of this ship, late 1960's Mercury Cougar........ Next stop, RSI........one stock Starlancer Max please. Take my money!

Oddly enough I like the Mojave one the best, I guess if you forced me to choose a second it would be Saphire. Honestly not super impressed with these paints. I REALLY hope they do a ILW Blue/Gold skin for them (for Starlancer AND Polaris.).

I don't think this ship is too much for a solo player. If you never get in to any fights, it's still a great solo cargo hauler without being too overwhelming with too huge of a cargo capacity. As for combat, once AI blades come in, those turrets will not need people to man them unless you just want to. Only thing you may need is someone to help with repairs mid combat, but unless you are just getting shredded instantly, I think you should be able to survive an encounter and then make repairs yourself once you are safe.

I dont know mate. I would love to make my ships unique but frankly am really dissatisfied with what they produce. Odd tones that wahes into something else in space, bitones of bizarre taste. Might as,well do United Color of Beneton SL paint. I would not think any less. Seriously not attracting, glad you love them all, glad I save money and yet... I don't ask anything better than make my ships unique
