Also I used to work for a residential property as a Leasing Agent and you are looking in the right field because u can live on the property while working there. They may run your credit but if they have questions just be honest with them. We had a recovering alcoholic on our property as a Maintenance Manager who lived there as well. They knew all about his background and he persevered and yes it was an upscale property. You can do this too!

He has a great voice and diction for a podcast and I think, that he will be a great speaker. I also see him writing a book or a diary of his future addiction recovery (if he is motivated enough to make it happen). Norm... *From an alcoholic (your age) who’s got 21 years no drink. **Don’t take this as me speaking down to you. You’re in the process of yet another miracle. You’re sober today. You’ve got EIGHT DAYS! Congratulations. You’ve begun recovering . You’re in the right frame of mind right now and right now you mean every word you’re saying. So...we both know that feelings change. Triggers come. “Fuck it-s” show up out of nowhere, so take it slow. Don’t let the KZbin “fame”, LOL get you. One day at a time, brother. You know your shit, which might make it even more challenging, dig? You’re quoting the right book...We both know that. So from me to you, I’d keep the, “cunning, baffling, and POWERFUL” part at the forefront of your mind. Don’t use. GO TO MEETINGS. Keep these vids the uplifting types they’ve been. Mark has plenty of the other kind. Much love, and... ~RESPECT~

There is something about Normans story that stood out amongst all the other stories, not that anyone else's story is less important, or less painful. The truth is he has shone a light on how many can fall into a life of addiction and not have the strength to climb out. Norman you have helped us/me understand my Brother's addiction. I feel so deeply proud of him. I can’t explain how proud I am. Really. I lost my brother to addiction and when I see people trying to get away from that it gives me so much happiness in my soul. Go to therapy and do NOT get discouraged if you don’t get a job right away. Please. You have to keep fighting for this, keep fighting for you. It will take time to get your life back. Maybe it will be quick because you’re so smart but don’t quit if it’s not. People care about you so much, no matter what your past is.

I'm so happy for him! He has so much more confidence, energy, and happiness in his voice, its contagious. The hardest battle is still ahead of him though. This is just the point. Theres an every day fight to say no I will not be that person and I will not do this to myself again. Not even once entertaining the thought of it,the mind is the hardest place to defeat an addiction. We seem to talk ourselves into thinking we are strong enough to handle just one time won't hurt. Telling someone what you've been through and seeing that you are accepted, loved, and given the boost to do better is the best thing ever.❤You are an amazing man and I know you will do great things.❤Keep up the great work that you have started.

Norman, I first-time saw the video of you about 2 weeks ago, and instantly realized how much insight & awareness your interview educated me,,, I am not a user but have a son-in-law that is and want so much for him to hear your story, I have tried to get everyone to view Mark's channel and hoping it would help to understand your struggles, I found myself replaying your testimony every chance I had, I found myself obsessed with you and another one on here,,, Eric. After seeing the video I said to myself,, he's going to change the script, and here you are 8 days later. You are my hero. I am starting to believe and have hope again. Prayers are being answered when I see you. Your kids are blessed to have you. Norman, stay real & righteous!

This made me cry, I watched his first interview and even as a person who has never used drugs learned so much from him. Im so happy for him I hope he continues on his road to greatness. As a grad student who sometimes wants to quit listening to Norman helped me keep going. Norman if you ever read my comment I wish you the very best and know that god will continue to bless you if you continue to follow him.

I love this! This interview was one of my favorites and I've seen just about every interview you've uploaded and his has by far been one of the most compelling. Sometimes sobriety begins with simply feeling like you matter and it can happen by reading positive feedback from strangers. You are not alone! You matter and you are important. Beautiful interview the first one I absolutely loved your honesty.

Wow! I just had an epiphany about my own self-destructive tendencies while listening to this video. I heard Norman on a more recent video, say that he hopes that he will be able to help others. Well, I’m not a drug addict, but Norman, you are helping me. Hearing your story, your set backs, your truth...seeing your beautiful spirit shine through all of it. You are an inspiration.

Mark and Norman you are examples of why people are brought together. You are both two humble beings who are used as vessels to shed light on the darkness with love and compassion. When I saw this update I literally dropped what I was doing, watched it and started to cry. This video reinforced to me the power of a positive few words and what can be accomplished by thinking of others. Please keep these updates going!!! Norman my love, you have fallen into grace, not fallen from grace. I will never stop praying for you and I gain soooo much empowerment from you. You and Mark are Kings and I am sending all kinds of loving energy to the both of you!!!!🥰 The "mother" quote also needs to be a t shirt!

Norman! I watched the first interview and I cried. YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING! I don’t know you but I’m EXTREMELY proud of you, your honesty and the profound way you speak! When you said you were 8 days clean I was in my kitchen cooking and I stopped, raised my hand, rejoiced, and prayed for you IN THAT MOMENT!!! Be reminded that THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN NOT DO!!! You had to go what you’ve been through so that Gods glory could be manifest THROUGH you! You’re doing an AMAZING job!!! I shall continue to pray for you! I’m rooting for you! Peace & many many blessings to you! 💕
