I used to work on my college's summer paint crew with a bunch of other girls and we never left a caulking job like that! So glad for the skills I picked up with that crew! Point of this case: never pay until you have thoroughly inspected the job first!
@marleonetti72 жыл бұрын
@@jenniferponsart7780 well it was probably one small tiny section that looked like that because of a gap from a broken tile and the plaintiff blew up the photo to make it look like the whole job was like that . and if a person has been in business working at peoples homes for many years then eventually even the best handymen have 3 or 4 people they can think of that falsely accused them of something .
@arianefr782 жыл бұрын
Even when the defendant was confronted with photos that clearly showed that the caulking of the tiles had been VERY badly done, he still wasn't professional enough to admit his worker had a done a terrible job. And if that is the level of skill of his employees, then he doesn't expect much more from himself...

of course the plaintiff is fine with the verdict because he just got 250 dollars spending money and he is NOT gonna hire somebody to fix one tile and a tiny bit of caulking for 250 dollars , he is just gonna leave it alone because it actually looked ok . these are the type of homeowners you NEVER want to work for .

You paid $350 for somebody to put up a ceiling fan when it's like 3 wires you got a twist??? Tf 🤣🤣
@LawsonPatterson2 жыл бұрын
My ceiling fan was 23 feet in the air with a 9 foot span from blade tip to blade tip. There was a LOT more involved!! Just watching them hold it (took two men) while the third guy wired and attached it was a lot of work. I was happy to pay for the installation.

Not everyone can get on a ladder, hold something heavy, and do it all
@headstampballpythons37832 жыл бұрын
I’m hoping that included the cost of the new fan. If that was just labor, that’s absurd. I install ceiling fans very often for my customers. It’s not difficult, even on higher ceilings. The fan rests on the fan mount as you connect the wires. So you don’t have to hold the fan and wire it at the same time. Most people around here charge $100 per fixture and that seems like a lot to me. I charge $30-$40.
