Personally I feel like Orbulon should probably be here over Fronk, he’s definitely the most iconic WarioWare character absent, and if it was up to me I would definitely include Cookatiel on the Odyssey team, but a good selection either way.

well lakitu was the announcer in the other games so having the talking flower take over that role when lakitu becomes playable would be great. then again he's playable in mario kart 7 and 8 and still has his job of starting the races, but still

Fun selections here! If I were to nitpick, I'd put Pom Pom as captain over Boom Boom so she can use her Shuriken in her specials, and probably swap a ghost out for Gooigi, but neither is at all a dealbreaker.

I absolutely adore the talking flower from Wonder so I thoroughly appreciate him being added to the roster. I also really love Cappy so I'm glad he's here too But I also think some Wario Ladn characters would've been cool for Wario's team. I've been wanting Captain Syrup in the modern games for a WHILE now and it would be insanely cool to see her in a Mario baseball game

Imo its makes more sense to swap bowser and bowser jrs teams. Jr has had the mini boss roll just like the rest if those guys so he fits their more Also if their was going to be dlc teams i think it would be cool if their was a fawful or geno team with a bunch of rpg characters on them. Would never happen but that would be fun

I like the ghost designs from the earlier Luigi's Mansion games a lot more but being realistic yeah they'd use the ghosts from the 3rd game Love the inclusion of Pyoro on the WarioWare team. One suggestion I would make is that for Rosalina's team I'd rather have Hungry Luma and the bunnies over the gear people and the bee soldier.

Pyoro can have a yellow skin based off birds and the beans JimmyT has a bunch of family members to based skins or colors off Mona has a load of different outfits 9-volt has... nothin really Crygor has had plenty of chages during the series ashley can have her gray hair and if it's only colors you want all of the wario ware characters have color skins for multiplayer in wario ware

Honestly, I’m not sold on having the Shiverians AND Shiverian Elder, since there are so many NPCs from Odyssey to pick from. I think the New Donkers would b a fitting pick since they match with Pauline and have a good few alternate appearances, even if they just go with black, grey, and dark red suits. I also think Roving Racers would be a good fit since their speed would make them statistically distinct from the other Koopas and they’re a little more iconic to the game as a whole as opposed to just being in a single area like most of the other NPCs like Shiverians and New Donkers. But idk Odyssey has a lot of little guys that would be really cool to see, the Tostarenans, the snails from Seaside, Goombette even, and that’s without even touching on the enemies, there’s enough there that you probably don’t even have to include the Broodals, so it just feels a little unfitting that we’d get two Shiverians (though I’d personally adore if we got at least one)

Nah, he’s always on Wario‘s side. If he could do shit himself he would have his own game but he‘s clearly a henchman and nothing more, can’t even appear in a non-sports environment because he’s such a tool. He’s even more insignificant than Daisy these days, who appeared in Smash AND a main Mario game for the second time now. Pauline can get shit done, she’s the major, and she was also one of the first three Mario characters to ever exist.

Tbh if that's the only RPG representation it'll feel kind of weak. I'd rather have characters original to those games than just paper versions of the mainline cast. And properly in 3D, like Goomboss & the Star Spirits were in their 3D appearances in the 2000s. Edit: Didn't even notice you did list the Star Spirits in your list. Still, 3D is the way to go. The first 3 games predate the whole "separate paper dimension" bs.

The fabled Mario Baseball 3. The roster of playable characters will be a make-or-break deal for most. Ideally, I'd hope for an "Everyone is Here" deal with all of Sluggers' cast returning, with about 20-ish newcomers. Your idea of 100, though, is wonderful! Seeing reps from Luigi's Mansion, WarioWare, and Yoshi's Island would give some much-needed diversity. Unfortunately? Nintendo is content to just barely scrape the greater Mario sub-universes in sports games. We'll be lucky if the DK reps survive... One character I would love is Koopa Kid. He is my favorite character in the Mario series. Putting him with Toad, Donkey Kong, Mario, and Toadette would be amazing! However, I understand that he is awfully obscure. We need to get Koopa Kid back into Mario Party first...🤔 You crafted an excellent idea of a future Mario Baseball roster. Whether it will actually happen is just a matter of wait and see. Only time can tell... Nice!

Personally id swap baby rosalina for the sprixies since rosalina was in 3d world and fronk for orbulon And plessie over baby yoshi (Yeah i like 3d world :3) Oh and id probably make bowsers partner ludwig and paulines partner captain toad since hes a recurring character in odyssey and id cut the shiverian chief probably or just the broodals in general tbh theyre boring (If we kill the broodals though probably add the tostarenan volbonan humans and foreman spike instead ig)
