Mind-boggling grain. Wonderful job bringing out the beauty in this wood.

What a gorgeous platter. That walnut is beautiful and love the design. Is there a risk that the Scratch Free will leave a wax residue behind that prevents the Tried and True finish from penetrating? Just wondering. Thank you for another awesome video!

Wonderful.. you did mother nature proud! (I'm so glad you didn't accidentally hit it on your spindle threads flipping from front to back 😂)

Beautiful work, now the real question, where can the common man or woman find this kind of turning blank?

Hie thee to your local specialty hardwood supplier. They will have offcuts and drops that you can use for this stuff.

The only thing lately that comes out of CA that's positive, curly Claro Walnut! You have to know someone or have a career other than woodturning to afford that nice of a blank. Is the platter for sale on the website? Terrific demo. Thanks.
