Craig I seen you three times live once was in Iraq in 2005 at al-Asad air base second was at Bryce Jordan center 2006 you welcomed us home from Iraq Third was in Jalalabad Afghanistan in a small warehouse on back of the base in 2014. Craig, I just want to thank you dearly for playing this song. I’ve been going through some things. I’m a disabled veteran and my faith has been more than this lately. Between ptsd, having a relapse again and losing my kids I’ve just been worn down. In fact tonight I was introduced to this song by my buddy. We were out fishing and he had this on repeat. And we play together sometimes( he drumbs I play acoustic as well as vocals and our buddy Daniel plays electric. ) anyways. I was looking for a way to do this song a little closer to my heart and more acoustically. And I ran into your rendition of it and well thank you. Maybe you wouldn’t mind sharing the chords you used and where you had the capo. Also. I know I’m not some famous band or something and I know you probably won’t read this. But I would be truly honored to sing with you some day. Your my favorite. If I could afford a ticket I’d be there. Thank you for all your truly inspiring music and I pray that our saviors blessing continue to pour over your life.
