So tragic and you’re 💯 right… none of us even want to imagine that kinda pain🥺 Craig wrote and sang about it😔 As you can imagine, Craig has always continued to do alot for our troops. Some other songs you might enjoy: -Almost Home -This Ain’t Nothin’ -What I Love About Sundays -God Must Really Love Me Another good reaction, guys! Thanks!! Stay safe & love much!💖

The first time he sang this was at the Grand Ole' Opry and when it was over he ran into a friend and I can't remember his name but he told him he loved the song. Craig said he was glad he saw it cause he would never sing it again. The guy told him this song is too important to not keep singing. This song has impacted my family because my parents have buried 2 sons. This song means a lot to them.

As y’all have by now with discovered, Craig Morgan’s son Jerry, drowned from a tubing accident. He was tubing with his friends and even though he had a life vest on, he drowned. What’s not been mentioned is that Jerry was adopted by Craig and his wife when he was an infant. The death of his son Has left a hole in him and his wife. Craig is very good friends with Blake Shelton. Blake has stood beside Craig the entire time. Craig performed this song on the Kelly Clarkson show, where Blake Shelton was in attendance. I watched that show and broke down. For the life of me I don’t understand how Craig can perform the song. Craig wrote the song in one night and has somehow managed to perform the song many times. He has said that he leaves that song to the end of his CERT because it takes so much out of him emotionally. He’s also said that he doesn’t always sing this song. He indicated that it depends on how he feels at that moment. I believe that y’all’s reaction to this video was spot on. Thank you!

Yeah guys. He lost his 19 yr old son in a tubing accident. Craig is a great guy too. Between active duty and reserves he served about 17 1/2 yrs in the army, including around 8 as a combat medic. A couple months before the holidays is 2023 Craig came onstage in uniform along with a reserve officer. Craig told family and friends and eventually fans that he felt he had left something unfinished because he did not get his full 20 in. So that night on stage he got sworn back in to the reserves to finish the job. You should check out his video for his song, This Ain't Nothin'.

He lost his son in a drowning accident and he wrote this song, and said he would never record or play it, but did for the first time on the Opry and had several of his friends tell him he had to sing it. I love Craig Morgan, I love the gravel. But he lost his son a few years back, he debut this at the Grand O'l Opry and he broke down and told his team that he would never sing it again. But the out pour of people who related to it is what showed him how important the song was. I lost my cousin in December of 2016, she was 23. So this song always makes me think of her. My bourbon comment... I will keep recommending Brown Sugar Bourbon by Heritage

The first time I heard this was a recording of when he sang it live. He only intended to sing it once. But another singer convinced him to sing it again, telling him there were so many others who could relate to the words and his emotions. Blake Shelton also helped convince him to release the song. It really is an example of a song that is driven by raw emotion; a song that, sadly, even many non-country fans can relate to, because they have been there. My dad has a friend who lost three adult children in two years. Two died in car accidents and another died saving her son from drowning. This song makes me think of him.

When someone loses a spouse, they're called a widow or widower. When a child loses their parents, they're called an orphan. I have noticed that there is no other name for a parent who loses a child. I wonder if that's maybe because there is no adequate word to describe the pain of losing a child. It's a pain that cannot be described and only understood by someone who has endured such a loss.

@emmef79702 жыл бұрын
@@BourbonCountryReacts No, it covers all genres, a song for anyone that has lost a father or anyone for that matter. James Blunt is an English singer, songwriter and musician. Primarily pop/folk rock. Before entering the music industry he went to the Royal Military Academy and was commissioned into the Life Guards, a reconnaissance regiment where he rose to the rank of Captain. He extended his military service and was posted to the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment in London as a member of the Queen's Guard. He also stood guard at the coffin of the Queen Mother (Queen Elizabeth's mother) during her lying in state and was part of the funeral procession. He's Involved in many charities, etc. Married to a Duke's daughter. And will one day no doubt be knighted for his service, loyalty, charitable works, achievement in the arts, etc. The song is beautiful and it has been reacted to on many of the country channels I watch. It rises above a specific genre.

Craig Morgan and Blake Shelton are good friends. It’s no wonder that Blake stood by Craig’s side when his son died. When Blake was 14 years old, his 24-year-old brother Richie died in a vehicle accident along with his girlfriend and her daughter. Blake was devastated. When Blake was married to Miranda Lambert, they co-wrote a song about his brother. Emotionally, Blake was not able to release this song for himself so Miranda Lambert released it.
