I always found Peri's personal skill to be completely useless. It doesn't stack with rallies, requires her to be an enemy phase unit to make much use of it without making use of dancing or galeforce or replicate, and she has to already be good enough to kill an enemy to even make use of it, so needless to say the boost is often redundant.

Best thing about Blood Thirst: it stacks. So here's a nice setup. Give her an ebony wing so that she becomes a dark flier and learn Galeforce. Also, have her learn Replicate. Then Have Azura sing for one of the copies. Then you have a whooping +16 bonus in strength speed and skill during enemy phase. You don't fuck with Peri.

It doesn't stack sadly as if you look at her stats after bloodthirst has activated, it says 'Rally Strength, Magic, Etc', effectively meaning it is a Rally just for Peru. Because Rally Strength cannot stack with a second Rally Strength (but it will stack with rally spectrum), Peru cannot get more than +4 to those 4 stats. The symbol will show it activating but it won't actually increase the stats again after the first kill.

I feel like if Brady were in this game, he would have a Personal Skill like this: Frustration: Allows use of the Whack Command. Whack: Uses any currently equipped magic weapon for a physical attack. The Mt, Hit, Crit, Avo, and Dgd for the weapons are all the same. If using a staff, the Ht is 100 and the Mt is 0. The exception is Bifrost, with 10 Mt, 100 Ht, and 20 Crit

Also something about kagero ... in birthright you never fight any ninja actually from the point you get kagero ( but a lot of Maid , which are completely irrevelant ) , in Revelation her passiv can be used but that's only in like 5 map . Other than this two things , it is a pretty good top 10 !

Other good skills [Personally the skills which increase/decrease damage by 1-3 aren't very important to me]: Miraculous Save isn't a reliable skill, but when it activates it literally saves lives. Once prevented Camilla from dying to an archer. Evasive Partner is pretty good if Jakob is your husbando. Fearsome Blow is nearly Savage Blow. Perfectionist gives free evade. Optimistic/Calm is great when luring enemies [Which is important in the game] Prodigy is good for Caeldori because she doesn't have the highest strength/magic. Fancy Footwork is a cheap rally, but good if you stack it with other rally skills. Icy Blood works as a counter and seal skill provided Flora's HP is not full [Which isn't that hard to activate].

If I had my own personal skill, it would be called "Last Stand", the icon would be the person form Corrin's Supportive Skill, but instead of a yellow light, there would be blue flames. It would give +10 to Attack,Hit,Crit,Avo, and would raise Def and Res by 5 when under 20% HP.

here is one for my character: make an example. debuffs the strength of nearby enemies whenever he gets a kill the reason why he has that skill is because like reina, my character is chivalrous to allies, but merciless to enemies (though out of necessity rather than pleasure). it can help him and others block a choke point and greatly complements his massive defense stat. it will be useless against mages, but that is because he a living reference to runescape, where warriors are strong against archers, but weak against mages (in older versions of the game, metal armor would actually make you MORE susceptible to magic)

I have to agree with the number 1. Pairing Elise with Benny after Rallying basically makes him indestructible when it comes to tanking (if he has Wary Fighter, obviously. Getting doubled by Mages or Armorslayers/Hammers is a bad time). I was able to just rush him on Conquest's last chapter, where all the enemies dogpiled, got hit back (forged Javelins are REALLY good on Benny) and the rest of my army just mopped up. As for Camilla, I'm assuming the real value from her personal skill comes into play on higher difficulties when initiating in a horde of enemies, as you: 1. Damage them, 2. Applying Savage Blow and then buffing whatever unit you use to finish them off. On lower difficulties, you don't get to see Camilla's skill all that much, since she practically destroys everything she touches.

You got very good choices. I fully agree with them, except... Ryoma and Takumi can get much better use of their skills simply by combining them with Replicate. They also work with a same level partner, something the Replicate unit will guarantee. I call the formations of double Takumi/Ryoma "nukes". Guess why. Also Silas skill. Very useful if the Avatar is paired up with him, and you switch them if the Avatar's health goes down too much. The result, between both caracthers' personal skills stacking with each other and adding the Cavalier skill Defender, is a completely invincible tank that will keep Corrin safe until you heal it.

I love perfectionist(subaki). a+ rank niles for lucky seven, duelist blow via swordmaster (which is the class i gave him) and sol to keep him at max health (required for perfectionist). This guy can give the opponet a 0 percent hit ratio. Oh, did i mention he does not take the recoil of life and death skill because he is a dodge pro? +10 damage for me!

Bruh HOW are any of the listed skills beside Biblophile and maybe Bloodthirst better than Bushido or Competitive? You know that they also work if the support unit is the same level, right? And to be honest, Ryoma DOES need a support unit so he doesn't get bonked by dual attacks. And really, with Takumi, you just gotta be a good FE player and spread around the EXP you get among your units instead of relying on two units to carry you through the game. Not that you really need that in Birthright or Revelation anyway. The only downside to Bushido and Competitive is that by using them, you won't be able to activate Galeforce. But really, +10 Crit AND +2/-2 or +3/-1 damage/damage taken is actually broken. Lucky Charm is also broken with Miracle and Profiteer. Ever heard of the unkillable Midori? I feel like you should make a distinction between the Top 10 in the chapters and the Top 10 for competitive/Castle battles, and even then Bushido and Competitive should be near the top in both categories simply because of how ridiculously broken they are. Especially for Rose's Thorns and Lily's Poise, they're only useful because most of Conquest's early-to-mid-game is based around abusing these skills to get the math right. I don't get how a +1/-3 or +3/-1 damage/damage taken is superior to even Supportive, which gives +2/-2 AND +10 Hit with the only restriction of the C support, and support instead of simple adjacency. Honestly, i think that even Quiet Strength or Rallying Cry are better than those two skills, because although they have weaker effects, they have much greater range, allowing the units to stay away from tomes or especially bows range. Plus, in competitive, they give their boost while giving space for a Galeforce unit to pick up their kill and go again, while if a Galeforce unit is supported by a unit with Rose's Thorns or Lily's Poise, they immediately go in attack stance and as such don't get to move again.

Its because you can only have one of each aura active and they are auras you can't get other places, different auras stack just fine. Camilla has easy access to Malefic aura and Elise has easy Demoiselle and Inspiration. If you're on defense they are really powerful.

The thing with Ophelia's personal skill is that you're pretty much stuck keeping her a magic unit if you want it to be useful. I married Odin to Kagero in my most recent Revelation file and I so badly want a swordmaster!Ophelia, but that means she has to carry around magic she can't use if I want to get any use of her skill.

Personally, I prefer Hinoka and Sakura's personal skills to Camilla and Elise's. The Hoshidan auras just seem more versatile to me, since units don't have to be right next to the sisters to be affected. Not to mention, you gotta be able to tank dem ranged attacks.

I have the same problem with weapons, I always that one weapon that I have just in case of specific situations that never seem to come up. Anyways, I have to admit I always prefer the skills that have active abilities over passive, small increases, so I tend to overlook the personal skills, I mean I get it on a technical level how good some of these abilities are, but I'll always prefer things like Keaton's item grabs because it's more tangible and noticeable.

I found myself using Kidnap and capture on very rare occasions. I managed to kidnap Haitaka (chapter 9 boss of Conquest) and he turned out to be really awesome to use for chapter 10 for rally defense. Capture though, I used to catch unique boss enemies and a knight. my knight is THE tankiest thing on my team. he's my unsung MVP of Birthright. cause RNG is BS and only Azama can take a physical hit worth a damn. Rinkah didn't count because I always feared she would die to crit.

I personally like Mozu's Forager skill. 20% HP recovery at the beginning of the turn when on Field, Forest, Mountain, or Wasteland terrain? Sign Me UP! This is especially good on Mozu, specifically, due to her being a case of "Magikarp Power", and as such, you'd most likely have her stationed in a forest or similar terrain when training her to buff her Defense and Avoid rate.

If you can get both, then get both because their both fantastic, but personally i'd go for blazing sword because it's the better of the two and is (along with path of radiance) the most focused, well thought out, and balanced game in the series.

Corrin is a Mary Sue. The problem with Corrin is that everyone seems to love him no matter what he does. Hell, even at the end of Birthright AND Conquest the surviving enemy royals forgive him, despite he was directly behind the deaths of more than half of their families, breaking their nations, killing countless soldiers and so on. SOME negative response at the end of the story would be nice other than "all is well and forgiven" Not to mention how many characters are unnecarily obsessed with him/her. (Kaze, Silas, Rhajat, Camilla, Hinoka, Sakura, Ryoma, Elise, Mikoto, Azura, Lillith, Jakob, Felicia and so on)

Chivalry and Pragmatic. Chivalry lets Xander do more damage and receive less if the opponent he's fighting has full HP; this makes Xander ideal for the front lines as he'll greatly damage or, in some cases, kill enemy units (he still doesn't like going up against Magic, so beware). Pragmatic lets Leo do more damage and receive less if he's fighting someone whose HP is less than full; this makes him ideal for picking off weakened units, made easy by moving and attacking adjacent enemies to take advantage of Heartseeker.

Zero Ace Well, characters who reliably crit a lot usually have low damage as compensation. So one crit on a unit with lots of crits, is most of the time not gonna be a kill. A second crit after it by Severa, will secure that.

Say what you want about Corrin story wise, but s/he's a great unit, between supports, abilities, stat growths, and versatility Corrin becomes one of the armies best units very quickly..

+CRASHX500 I thought Corrin was okay. He was standard lord fare in Revelations and pretty savage in Birthright, but I completely agree with you on the subject of Corrin if we're talking about him in conquest. He just... Sort of does whatever King giant ham not-a-villain tells him like a sheep and doesn't think over the consequences of the bafflingly stupid plan Azura comes up with at chapter 15. Destroy and entire country to get your not real dad to sit and the magical throne thingy? Okay!!

Josep Prats Yeah, I'll admit love the idea behind Conquest Corrin, this sheltered kid with great battle potential that just found out all of this stuff and is trying to cope and do as much good as possible. That being said it was not executed very well.

+Josep Prats Conquest Corrin isn't THAT horrible. He had to do what Garon said in the beginning since it was his head if he didn't comply. Also, once he hears Azura's plan, he's really hesitant to do it, minimizes casualties, and constantly frets over the choice he made. Hardly an "Okay!!" Besides, he's trying to end a war and save more lives than are taken, since as Xander says, justice is an illusion - you can't end a war without some form of sacrifice. I personally have a slight preference to Conquest Corrin over Birthright Corrin, since I believe the latter is a bit more of a generic protagonist.

Tbh kagero's skill should of been lower because although it looks useful, it doesn't really work on birthright nor revelations as there really near non existence ninjas or any skuriken using enemies compared to conquest but kagero isn't playable on conquest. while it is a useful skill but it hardly gets a use and it would of been better on sazio as he's more of a defensive ninja I know it's your opinion but it doesn't really belong that high.

As much as you make fun of him, I actually find Corrin to be one of my favourite lords in the series. 7's trio are uninteresting, 8's are even less interesting, I haven't played 9 or 10, and Shadow Dragon had very little depth to any of it's characters. Awakening's Lords are the only two who are above Corrin, as they are written much better. I still liked the naive yet intelligent character they gave Corrin, and I feel as if (in BR especially) he has enough development to keep him interesting. CQ also has his conflict between his personal morals, and his methods for his goal.

@@joelsasmad That didn't have all the answer all the time so he relied heavily on his friends and had a blunt and honest personality that won allies to his cause. I'll never forget Lucia's recruitment conversation in PoR. She tries to introduce herself to Ike on the battlefield and Ike's response is something akin to "We're in the middle of a fight here! If you're here to help pick up a sword and get to killing. If not shut up and go away." Then he leaves the conversation and Lucia is dumbfounded for a second before she starts laughing at what just happened.

+Blue :P Saizos does a kamikaze bomb when the enemy takes him down to half or less, causing him and enemies to take damage. Izanas has enemies and allies dealing -2 damage when nearby

Josep Prats but why use it when you have sakura???, Heck, Even Azura with Nohrian Princess. Personally, Izana for me is just a cheap, free Rally Bot. Another shitty skill is Selena's, I mean, If a pair up already crits, It pretty much just dies instantly, Not useless, but a bit situational.

Ahh I see, well in that case my favourite parings off the top of my head would be Xander/Charlotte, Leo/Hinoka, Ryoma/Camilla, Takumi/Oboro, Mozu/Subaki, Effie/Benny, Kaze/Female Corrin, Niles/Peri, Saizo/Kagero, Odin/Selena and that's all I can think of right now.

You have some interesting choices. I based my pairings on the support conversations. My favorite pairings are: F!Corrin/Xander-OTP M!Corrin/Azura-OTP Kaze/Beruka-I think that their support was rather sweet and we get to see a softer side to Beruka Azama/Orochi-A match made in Heaven (lol) Hayato/Nyx- because of Rhajat Leo/Sakura- Leo help Sakura become more stronger in a way Odin/Elise- Alike in so many ways as well as Ophelia Niles/Camilla- they just fit together Benny/Oboro- One of the funniest conversations in the game
