2021 was an intresting year for Destiny and Twitch politics, from canvassing in Georgia to listening to MrGirl's raps. Its kinda unfortunate that with a few exceptions, US politics was filled with meandering, boring discussions or just insane lefty or righty conspiracies. I hope 2022 brings more characters and content. Thanks August for the solid editing and posts

To be fair I've heard of dumpster diving around grocery stores or whatever because they always have to throw shit out all the time, especially during power outages all their cold products like cream and ice cream and stuff have to get thrown out after a certain amount of time without being refrigerated not matter how fresh they were before being put in there. Not really the same as what Alle was doing but, still interesting enough to mention I thought.

Most people would lose their minds if they realized how much really amazing food is thrown out. For the dumbest reasons. Here mon MTL tons of places you can go to dumpster dive. Sadly some places will pour gross shit on the food so you don't take it. Which should be illegal tbh. Some people also live to dumbster dive at electronic stores or outdoors wear stores. If they don't slash the shoes and stuf you can get a lot of nice gear.

@@itsMalma yesss I’ve worked in retail for a very long time and when I had to throw things out for dumb reasons I always made sure to do it in a way that made it convenient and in-tact for dumpster divers. Warehouses are even worse about it! Me and my coworkers straight up swiped stuff that was going to be thrown out if we wanted it when I worked in warehousing. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. I second the notion that tampering with food to make it inedible before throwing it away should be illegal.

So, there's a "Litmus Test", hopefully spelt right, that indicates whether a person is good or bad. Personally, I'd like more information on who came up with this one (and I'll probably look it up, eventually), but here it is: If you return shopping carts to their corrals or not. If you do: you're a good person. If you don't: you're a bad person. The reason is due to the lack of loss/gain by doing so. There's no punishment for NOT returning your cart to a designated corral.
