Nets isn’t every well coached huh, defense rotation are slow af and often times just straight wrong, and coach nick also pointed out that they don’t run much offense other than iso against mismatch. I am not against iso ball, especially when it is against a mismatch, it is a very good play. But there should be more action before you go to iso.

Being lanky and skinny grants KD his smooth jumper but always becomes a problem in the playoffs unless he plays with several other all stars. Defenders make him work really hard to even catch the ball.

It’s not unusual for teams to struggle in game ones. And look both teams were locked in a tight battle all the way through this game. The Nets should honestly be pretty happy with this game. They made a lot of correctable mistakes and they get 3 days to adjust to the Celtics defense. Expect KD to make a statement next game.

KD could honestly have another 9-24 game and they win. If the Nets weren’t giving so many free points to the Celtics (mostly kd) I think they win. Keep the ball out of KDs hands. He can score 30 on catch and shoots, off ball drives and short ISO’s. Kyrie didn’t struggle as much because he can dribble his way out of almost anything and without R-Will they can’t trap him.

This is also the series where Tatum and Brown get a chance to elevate to the next tier of superstar in my opinion. I believe in Kevin Durant. I think this was a healthy loss is all I’m saying.

Celtics also shot their season average both from the field and 3 point range, meanwhile the Nets shot 10% higher from both Fg and 3pt than their season average. Nets players not named KD shot 61% from the field. This was the game they should have won
