Awesome channel!!! Toyota still offers everything with manual transmission in other countries and lots of them come mainly with manual transmission. In some countries you have to special order a Toyota truck with an automatic transmission. That’s why the clutch pedal bolts on easy.

With the hilux surf being RHD and the prado LHD variants being hard to find in a wrecker, it’s why we went with the Tacoma, so it took *some* modification to get it to fit… now a Prada one would be so nice to find!

Now my problem im having is trying to build trailing arms without sending shocks through the floor. With a DD and car seats I cant really cut into the floor.

Thanks for the update! Been here since day one and you have the absolute sickest 4Runners in the world hands down!!!!!! ❤ unfortunately I had to trade in my 4runner and get something better on gas and I regret it so much. I miss my 22 lunar rock kdss 4runner :( I now have a pos 23 accord hybrid that I absolutely hate and just wish I had never done it. Blah. Maybe one day I’ll find another 4runner for a deal or something but I’ll still watch this channel regardless even though I don’t have the 4r anymore :( I can’t wait to see you rippin the 2jz for sure. ❤❤❤

Hey mate, love the build, I’ve gone back and watched most of the previous videos and can’t find anything, but how are you going to solid mount the cab or tie the roll cage into your chassis? It wouldn’t normally be a problem but now because the roll cage itself is the shock mounts instead of shock hoops welded to the frame it’s probably not super ideal and will probably try rip the cab through the body mounts Regardless, love what you are doing, keep it up 👌🏻

That’s a great question. The body is sandwiched between two plates and the frame side plate is welded to the frame. The cage is hard mounted or welded to the frame at all points. Thank you for the support and positive feedback!

It's 2wd, he's a dealer for some killer manufactures, he's hands and builds/fabs the rest with a great group of like minded crew/friends...I would speculate.
