Besides loving what you design and build, I also appreciate the fact that you're willing to show us the areas that need improving-and things like running out of gas. 🙄 👍 Good stuff *as always.*

Yes I agree a high back bucket seat, small wind screen, and maybe a 3 arch roll cage ,like you see on tractor pullers.

Love your videos. You build some bad ass stuff. Thanks. Only two things I would recommend on this build is a higher back on the seat and a small wind screen in front of the instruments. That things has got to have some serious throwback.

Looks like you used contact cement for the foot rubber mats. You used a plate and clamps to put pressure on it but that is not best. Shoemakers use a much better method that is to just go to town on it with a hammer. In your case using a soft rubber mallet would be best. You could still do it even after it's been a while since you put it together. I recommend you do it as even if your feet put some decent pressure on the center, the edges will start to peel first.
@WorkshopFromScratch13 күн бұрын
I didn't know about this method, thank you very much for your valuable advice, tomorrow I will definitely try to use your method if the glue is not fully cured yet😃
@FrancoRoya13 күн бұрын
@@WorkshopFromScratch It's not about how long to wait before the two pieces are fully cured or not. If it is contact cement then, you'd have had to apply the glue to each piece and wait for a bit for them to "tack up" which is the point when it no longer stick to your finger to the point it wants to lift off the piece. And that is a cured as it's EVER gonna get, it will always be flexible, no matter how many decades pass. What's important, and the reason why it's called "Contact Cement" is to make sure that every square millimeter of the glued pieces are in contact with each other, that's why the smacking is needed.😉

I wonder if you got your steering alignment right. it looks like he's pulling a bit to the left. Laser alignment in a car garage might have a positive effect on the overall handling.
@WorkshopFromScratch13 күн бұрын
Thank you 😁It took a lot of work to align the wheels, but I managed to get them right, just unscrew the steering wheel and adjust it until it's straight 😀
@roypatterson99102 күн бұрын
To me, I would want to pull back on the shifter to shift up, and push forward to shift down. That's just the way I would like it, but you have to have it to the way you like it or it wouldn't feel right to you.
@JonDeth14 күн бұрын
Well, these are officially tractors vs a lawn mower so 100 Hp isn't exactly unusual, it's just all that speed is! lol My lawn tractor is bad ass and when you have one rather than a riding mower, it's not the least bit surprising that people will convert them the way you have. Mines much too fast for what it is already lol.
