James and Jim are the same person... Jim is short for James in the U.S... so you do have a James Cromwell handmade knife. James Cromwell is retired and no longer makes knives so what you have is rare and 1 of a kind. It can retail anywhere from $175- $1,800... the closest one I found was a Drop Point Hunter Knife that sold for $695.00. So you didn't get jipped. Whoever put that bag together put all hunting gear in it. The Mug is for camping, it's only worth $16.95...the Canvas bag is to hold your gear, and the book is for reading up on different hunting gear and how to use it. And the repellent is to keep Mosquitos at bay. The box has a much higher value than you think. It is definitely more than $200 worth of gear. If you don't want it just sell it on E-Bay or ETSY... the knife should be auctioned off because I do believe it's worth closer to that $695 price than the $175. Don't be confused by my knowledge of hunting gear. I grew up on a farm and hunted with my Father and Brothers for years. Also, I don't know where you get your information from but Stainless Steel knives are good knives... they're not cheap material. Especially if they are high carbon blades or S30V Steel. I can't get over you thinking Jim and James were 2 different people. I thought you may know that by now.
