everything about this sale is exhausting. Especially since bambu labs is also having a sale tomorrow as well. I'm glad there are more options showing up on the market. I wish I knew if flashforge multicolor would work with the A5M and I would just upgrade later and get the A5M right now.

Hopefully we'll know something soon from Flashforge since the next generation of 5M printers are supposed to launch in August. Rapid + TCT is the last trade show they're attending before August, so maybe some news by then?

Yeah, I have a buddy that had asked me to try and grab one of those K2 combos tomorrow morning, and I had a moment of temptation to grab one myself... until I remembered the absolute hell I went through with my Ender 3, and then my K1C. I am basically swearing off Creality at this point and I look forward to grabbing another X1C tomorrow from their sale.

The sale was a disgrace different rules for different countries and on the live feed it was revealed the limit was 200 at 50% world wide. I will wait for the new Bambu. Too many unknowns about the K2.

im pretty sure the price is going to be around the same price as the x1c, saw the real sam post50% off will be $750. while everyone too busy trying to copy bambu.. BL already on their next set of printers. they starting their anniversary sale early this year and when the K2 comes out, BL will most likely have their next flagship announcement.

Yep. Bambu Lab released the P1S last year about a week or two after their sale in June. I'm holding off for a "P2S".

Doesn’t seem like creality is copying Bambu Labs as they were in business and made a core XY before Bambu Labs even went on kickstarter…This is a 350mm cubed printer and Bambu’s is much smaller so how is this a copy?

@@YouBetterCallSaul lol you kidding me? They started before BL yes but look at all the ams corexy in an enclosure that’s coming out now. The only company that didn’t really follow that trend and did something different was prusa. I’m pretty sure BL will be going after the prusa XL market next. Everyone copied prusa for the longest time and after Bambu came out, everyone is trying to 1up BL. Nothing bad tho just means more competition, in return better and cheaper for the consumers.

I think it sucks to put the presale on limit, Look at it this way 200 "world wide" really can you say gone in less then a minute. I plan on getting this printer after I see it in action, the K1 and K1 max are in the shop and I look forward to use the CFS to get rid of all my partial rolls of PLA in boxes not wanting to print because of run out.

1500, haha. Qidi’s early bird sale was 470 and after that it is still 470, when it was announced to go up to 600. Probably they could’nt because the SV08 then showed up (but bad value for it’s current price of 780… that will drop again when production ramps up, after users have tested the current beta machine). The K2 will be a 900-1000 Printer. So real early bird savings are 150-250.

So in regards to the CFS, does anyone know if it could be loaded up with the same color and the printer automatically switch to a new roll when one runs out? I tend to print large cosplay and props and sometimes require more than 1kg of filament at a time. So being able to do that with the CFS would amazing.

It can. From the K2 Plus product page," If the current filament spool is running out, it can continue by selecting and loading another spool automatically."

Wednesday morning (china time) there is a livestream on the Creality channel. This is a good topic, I will ask them to demonstrate. The answer is yes - but i'm sure loads of people want to be clear on it. I don't care about multi-color but having four reels pre-loaded is attractive for sure.

I suspect we'll be waiting quite some time for this option. Creality will have more profit in selling the bundle. If their site is saying the pre orders won't even be shipping for months from now.

I was talking to my brother because we were thinking about buying it and once we came down from the hype, this is what we figured out: the real major difference between the K1 Max and the K2 is the multi filament holder, which they said they may be making for the K1 models The price will drop on the K1 Max when the K2 comes out And the bed is slightly bigger (300x300x300 vs 350x350x320)

@FigureFeedback hello Sir. Can you tell us what do you think about K2+ bed leveling? I'am a bit afraid what I saw on videos. 4 axes for 2 truss rods only! I always learned to make equilibrium we need 3 points at least. As the K1 Max. Whatching this machine with only 2 of them makes me dubitative about how will we could level the back and front sides of the bed. I'am quite sure you noticed that, and having only 6 months in CNC worlds, I have to refer on real experienced peoples. THX

the two rods are on independent motors. on the K1 series they have 3 rods on one motor. The tech told me this is superior to the K1 method. Anyway, wednesday there is another livestream on the official creality channel and we are answering all questions about the K2. This is a good topic, I'm sure we will discuss it.

They only selling a small amount because they need only a small amount of Better tester😂 Instead of them paying you or lose money to ship them out worldwide, they charge you to cover the machine and postage cost.😅 otherwise if they sell at full production rate, their website will crash from complaints😅 why hasn’t anyone made the AMS to work with other open source 3d printer like the Vorons and VZbot? The ER is too big and clunky in my opinion.

I have low trust in Creality. Everything they have produced besides basic bed slingers has had issues. And their "customer support" is basically non existent. I would never hand them 1000$ for anything. Their cheap bed slingers are ok for the price but don't expect anything premium from these guys. It will have issues guaranteed 100% (and Creality won't fix it).

All the long term reviews I’ve watched have been good…some have dealt with their customer support (always via email bc they are located in China) and received parts very quickly from US based warehouses…if I can get this thing with a multi material dry box for $750 I’m jumping on that. I enjoy tinkering and I will gladly pay 50% less than retail to be a beta tester 🤷🏻‍♂️

I've had great experience with the Creality Support. They replaced parts no questions asked. But yes I've had some QC issues, starting with the camera. However the K1 Max is great in my opinion even though there are VFA issues with the first couple of revisions. Should be better with the pulley upgrade but I personally didn't bother with it to be honest.

I am wondering how nobody realizes that AMS is a dead end? The amount of waste vs benefit just does not make sense. Multi material printing has a valid need, yes. Esp for support. But this is not the way.

No, it's not a dryer. You'll need to use desiccant inside of it to control moisture.

I would not buy this until at least six months after launch, Creality have a pretty good track record of releasing products with massive faults, the K1 had 3 different extruders before they came with one that worked correctly, and a plate that warped when it got warm! Bambu Lab will have something outstanding waiting in the wings, no way are they going to let Creality even get a sniff of stealing their crown!

They have learned a lot, and it's also a serious enterprise. My K1, first machine for me, was a really good introducing experience, when it was updated hardwarly, of course I understand the chaotik srating of this model. I think this iteration K2+ will benefits of this experience. The price is good considering the bundle and gifts (dryer, plate, filament). It wont be perfect but what Creative do is good considering concurence market. My personnal choice is the stermoon pro with 2 head, for blacky monday, hope at 1300-1500. Actualy @2000 in my swiss country instead of 3K on creality store.
