If you’re learning how to sell, I would focus on the fundamentals. Find people who really need your offer and have money to actually pay for services. Then find a way to get meetings. If you can get those things down, you should be solid.

“I help engage the community to work together to solve problems by identifying barriers through research, which in turn gives government officials a baseline where investments are needed the most.” Please provide feedback on where improvements need to be made. Loved your video. Very informative.
@BPHirsh3 жыл бұрын
My two cents, I'm not sure what you do. Do you help the communities get government funding? 1. maybe restructure. I saw that you help communities solve problems, but I'm not sure how the rest of what you said does that. 2. maybe cut length by 50-75%. There seems to be a lot of detail that is confusing me. For example, the first clause has 5 actions (engage community, work together, solve problems, identify barriers, [do] research).

can I have more explanation about "WHY"? I don't really understand about WHY THIS, and WHY YOU in my context. well, let's say I'm offering a service, I want them to join me because it would make them easier to handle a new order from a company and I can solve the workflow problems between them. then where is the answer of WHY THIS, and WHY YOU at? please help me to understand. Thanks for your kindly sharing anyway! I'm still watching your videos to understand more and improve my self more.
@patrickdang4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question. To give a deeper explanation of WHY, think about why they need to solve these "work flow problems". How much time and money is this costing them. What's the cost of doing nothing. Do they really need this type of solution or is it just a nice to have? WHY YOU: what makes you better than your competition. If they were to buy a solution to solve their problem, why should they buy it from you instead of anyone else? Do you have a better solution or better customer experience? Hope that helps clarify things.

Alicia, I understand exactly what you are saying. I once was there right where you are or were. I found that when thinking about even the smallest things I have accomplished or completed over the course of my life gave me a base line as to where my strengths are. I don't care if you determine that you are consistent at taking out the trash, there is a reason for that consistency. Ask yourself what it is about taking out the trash consistently that drives you. Figure out those motivators that pushed you to do something or not do something consistently. You will find your professional DNA embedded into your findings!
