Nope, definitely not an English toffee recipe and I'm afraid you need a thermometer to temper chocolate, I'm sure it tastes lovely but please don't talk about things you don't know x

We actually do have a video on tempering chocolate, bet you didn't know that and yet talked about it ;) If you want to check it out, it goes into a lot of detail, it's part of our how to make millionaire brownies video, but we opted to use the microwave here to save time as the chocolate isn't the star. And it's an interesting stance on the recipe, how come you don't think it's English toffee?
