Tip for you, I started doing this this yr, you can put vinegar in a little dish to use to wipe rims, then just dump the vinegar into the canner when done setting the jars in, another thing I started doing, not sure this will stay in practice but, so you always have a rag with vinegar ready. Cut up cotton cloths into small squares, take a little plastic butter or cheese dish or just something like that that has a cover, of course cleaned, put your cloths folded & staked in it, fill with vinegar to submerge cloths, cover & keep in the cupboard, then just throw the cloth in the laundry at the end of your canning session.

That is AWESOME! Can I just tell you, my favorite cut (speaking as a mom of 5 littles) is to take the round steak and have it sliced like bacon. It made a awesome chow mein, Philly cheese steaks, fajitas, steak toppings and more. It cooks SO FAST, and it doesn’t need much prep work because of the slicing up front. Something to consider. They will hang your beef for a bit, so you have a few days for changes, I’d say. Thank you for subscribing. As a tiny channel, we celebrate every one, and my kiddos are counting down to 500 today! 💕

Again, thank you for all the shared information!!!
@thehometownhomestead2 жыл бұрын
90 is the limit for quarts. I used pints, so 75 is the processing time. The first time I did it, I just told myself it was a gamble worth taking. 😳 It made sense because you typically want the canned to warm slowly anyway, and it worked out beautifully. Happy canning!
