Dash Glitch your way is much less taxing I tend to put each instrument into its own groove Agent as I don't know how to use it very well. Quite new to cubase. Which by the way would be an awesome tutorial... How to use groove Agent se to its full potential. I look at most of it and don't understand how to utilise the envelopes or loop sections, so everything I do in it is super basic any chance of this happening please?

My soundcard allows me to record my outputs as inputs directly, so that is the easiest for me. I guess it depends on your setup

hey Dash.. i have a Komplete Audio 6.. ahh ok i get it now.. so you are recording as a Mono source.. is it proper to leave the vocal part in Mono or spread it out "stereo" ?
