I have to do panels for my shirts so for a round neck i started at the top then increased on one side only. On the second panel i started at the top and increased on the opposite side( still on one side only). When i seamed my panels together it made that scoop. I made my ribbing separate and then sewed it to the scoop area. Decreases look cleaner so ill have to try that way. I love your projects ! Best clothing i have found on KZbin. Would love to see a larger item with panels either under the arms or the front/back.

That’s a fabulous vest! I love it. Thank you for this brilliant tutorial. I would graft the shoulders with a Kitchener stitch. It’s completely invisible and no bulk at the back at all. There are lots of tutorials for it on KZbin. Although I have to say that your Swiss darning join looks pretty good too ❣️🌹

This is brilliant! I'm a hand knitter and have just started using a flatbed knitting machine as well as the Sentro knitting machine to speed up some projects. I've been thinking of making a vest just like this. Thank-you so much for figuring it out as well as making this video. I'll let you know once I make one.!

Hi Rachel thank you, I'm not sure if you can work with 2 strands on a flatbed but on a circular machine it's not too hard, I use mine exactly for that reason I speed up the bigger parts and make little details either with crochet or knitting. I was lucky I have a mum that knit and a nana that crochet ☺️

I really love this pattern but am just a beginner. I have problems with how to add the ribbings. How do one insert the needle to all the loops after you remove your panel from the machine??! 😢 Im sorry but is it just me? I could not not find the video where it show fr the start for the needles and its very confusing for me.

If you're making a small or a s/m it should fit . Max for about 34c brest size, it would fit a bit stretched if you don't mind that 😉
