Hi Max! What is the reason you choosed to publish those valueable videos on youtube instead of selling them in a course? Also in the aftermath, was it more profitable being affiliate for the bank than fex having step-by-step guide as an upsell? Love your content btw, everyone here should subscribe to you.
@SnakeCakeExotics Жыл бұрын
@@norji6945 buy selling he would have had to market and sell instead buy giving it for free he created appreciation and tons of free marketing which allowed him to scale and sell more than he ever would have trying to sell a course. He choose the long haul over the quick buck which is actually less profitable in the long run. Thought bigger.

16:53 - something new i learned recently was the fact child seats actually have an expiration date AND if you bring the old one to Target, you can get some trade-in value and use that toward the purchase of a new one. I honestly did not know there were even an expiration date on a child safety seat. It's not like they are like foods that "rot" or "get moldy" but apparently they really do come with an expiration date. Poof!!! Mind blown!!! 😮😮😮😮😮

I totally get the brand guidelines part, I recently implemented a strategy to make my video titles better called the "it's just me and the kids from now on" method. The idea being that the title should read like something a girl in her twenties would post on Facebook, dramatic enough to get attention but still vague enough that you need to dig a little deeper to know what's actually going on. the result has been way more views and subscribers since the implementation so I'm sticking with it :)

My advice is everyone who is a content creator do this simple trick. Please for the love of god you should charge on patreon 7-200$. I see way too many content creators make patreon page and then charge 2-14$ and never get ahead and will not make it full time on their passion. So charge bare 7 to 200$ is a perfect patreon page. Or at least add some affiliate pages tailored to your audience on. Also never over do your Tier system. I see too many people get burnt out adding 10+ bonus on their tiers.

Cool video but for me I can't learn new things if there is not a visual examples, presentation or tutorial of some sorts. Just talking about things is good to potentially give some tips or insights but for me personally just makes me think 🤔 how can I do that or start this, or where to go from here, etc... Makes me question everything. I am visual learner, so it's hard to just imagine something without any examples 😢

interesting video and great title to get me to click. However, can this done again? If we have another pandemic and more programs maybe but probably not. We have hindsight and know what to do know. Even though you're not telling us we can make that amount. It's implied by people who want to make money as a creator. The carrot is 1.6 mil but it doesn't give the reality that most won't make money.

@unclemick-synths Жыл бұрын
It depends how cut-down the YT stuff is. If it's like an infomercial where you watch for ten minutes but value never gets delivered I'm not keen but if the YT content is valuable in its own right and the Patreon is added value, I have no objection - people have to feed their families.
@DoughnutDragon Жыл бұрын
@@unclemick-synths Yeah that's fair enough, promising and delivering value is good but using fear as a tactic to manipulate people into giving you money is immoral.
@unclemick-synths Жыл бұрын
@@DoughnutDragon yep. I steer clear of ones like that. It's a bad idea on their part because if they string people along on YT it makes me think they'll string people along in Patreon.
