It should be ALSO BE about Kohli. We lost 3 wickets for 8 runs in the middle. His partnership with Sundar and then Reddy helped India to get to 500+ target for the Aussies. And what are you complaining about? The video clearly spoke about the Bumrah and Jaiswal. There is an entire video about KL, Jaiswal and Bumrah. Go watch those.

I hated him a lot till he retired. Then came IPL and then the team which he was in performed like bhikaristan(bottom of the table). And then came Pant. Everytime Pant hits weird 6s, I go back to that horror show 2003wc. but this time, I have opposite feelings when that happens. Gilly has always been an oddball of Aus cricket. 0 sledging(well, his bat does the sledging to the ball). He didn't sledge when IPL didn't exist. A true good soul

@@abcdef177 Quite the contrary, he was scoring tough runs under pressure. Just because they weren't 50s or 100s, they don't get highlighted. In the last 5 years, there are innings where he has scored the most runs in the team. Showing how poor our team has performed overall. The walking wicket in question is Rohit sharma.

@@sushrutkumarsamanta1445 i think Rohit's captaincy has deteriorated and that's affecting his batting too because he is not able to provide good starts as an opener and puts the rest of the batting lineup in huge pressure so its in the best interest of ICT that he should be rested for this series. There is no need to disrupt KL Rahul - Jaiswal opening combination to accomadate Rohit for this series at least.

Honest but unpopular opinion. Rohite sharma should sit out next couple of matches. Team looks beautifully balanced, Bumrah is doing well as a captain and the team looks like they know their roles. Kohli was a changed person today. Even the Aussie commentators mentioned this as to how calm and composed he looked compared to earlier tests recently where he was jittery and skittish. This clearly means our "intent merchant" was driving people to do things they didn't want to. Rohit should sit out.

Jaiswal rectified his back foot defense shot selection and punished Australia with Virat's hundreds put them to misery, Declaration was the master stroke with 4.2 overs for 12/3, Indian pacers were breathing fire. Regardless of the conditions, Australian batsmen Khawaja, Marnus, Smith look out of form, Head, Marsh, Carey should always bail them out in this series.

Rohit can slot in at 3 replacing Padikkal. That would leave this technically sound opening pair intact while making a formidable top 4. Gill can continue to take bit longer to fully heal from injury. Shami for Harshit, that’s a tough call - may need to wait till India leadership inspects Adelaide pitch and make a call, while fully assessing Shami’s match readiness.
