I will never understand how anyone could plot to harm a child intentionally. Having done something this horrible, I cannot fathom how a person could keep it together to successfully hide their involvement. Children invoke feelings of endearment and protectiveness in the normal healthy adult. The person who would harm a child has a diseased mind, a poisoned soul, or no soul at all.

There is no possible punishment harsh enough for these 2 monsters. This is the absolute sickest crime; what that poor, poor little girl endured is enough to make you sick. That woman, how could she be a party to this? Rest with Jesus, precious Tori.

This took place a half hour from where I live. To this day, I think of her. My favourite colour is also purple. I don’t believe in the death penalty, but in this case I would make an exception. The horror this sweet little girl must have endured is simply beyond my comprehension. Rest In Peace, little one - you are with the angels now.

Love how Tori was described by her dad and mom "a playful little buggar" and "a little hot mess" (that precious little description made me giggle and made my heart smile) so heartbreaking that they will not be able to make even more lovely memories of/with their beautiful loving daughter especially of her getting fully dressed on Sunday mornings to go to church with her grandmother with no morning struggles to wake her up (what a lovely, delightful and heartbreaking memory) RIP and continue to now enjoy and delight in endless Sundays beautiful...

I followed this back when it was in the news. I used to live in Woodstock. I remember hoping they would find her safe and sound. I always remember all the horrible things people said about Tara. I cried through this whole thing. I'm so sorry that her family had to go through this. Tara struck a cord when she said as a mother and the bond they shared she thought she would know what happened to Tori. I felt the exact same thing when my daughter was a victim of a horrible tragedy. I Will never forget her. I worked for an Indigdnous Women's Organization and there was an overwhelming outcry when we heard she was in an Indigenous healing lodge in BC. She didn't belong there for big reasons, including she offered poor Tori up for a sacrifice as if she was leading a lamb to slaughter. Yes she had a sick cruel childhood but you don't do this as an excuse. As for the perverse POS I can't stand to even see his face. To Tori's family I send my sincere sympathy, I don't know how you even survived through this. I know many people will never forget your baby angel.

There should never ever be any possibility off parole especially for a child killer. I hope they never get a moment of peace for the rest of their miserable and pathetic lives.
@misterslats3 жыл бұрын
It's just the wording. It doesn't mean they are getting parole. These two won't be paroled. One reason for wording a sentence this way is that a prisoner who thinks they have a chance of getting out some day comports themselves differently in prison. People who know they aren't getting out of prison have nothing to lose and have no reservations about killing guards or cellmates. Lifers with bad attitudes are problem prisoners. It's partly a psychological ploy to sentence this way and it's also used in most European countries, Australia, Japan, etc.

I was 8 months pregnant when this happened with my first child (a girl) and I remember being so scared for that little girl and hoping they would find her unharmed, but when my daughter was a month old found out they found Tori 😔 I will never forget her story. I thought how could there be monsters out there, so close to where we live that would do that to a precious child? I tell my girls all the time that these monsters exist and to never leave school with anyone but us or the school bus, and if I drop them off I don’t leave until I see them in the school or with a teacher. Tori’s story just might save other children from making the same mistake. RIP beautiful girl. You did not deserve what happened to you 💔 Btw, it doesn’t matter if she actually did the killing or not. They both drove to the Home Depot to buy a weapon and garbage bags, the both premeditated this. End of story!

Kidnapped children are typically killed within 24h of abduction. Within mere hours of abduction, more often. It's tragically incredible that the father, and this other man, said they still held out hope, for over a month. Much more than hope (hope dies last, that's normal, inevitable), but in case of the father, almost an expectation. Didn't the police tell him what I, a true crime viewer, just said, that the chances of an abducted child to be found alive one month (!) after abduction are slim? of course they shouldnt completely dash their hopes, but they should prepare them for what's basically inevitably coming. 24h. Usually much, much less. That is all the time they really have. Beyond that, it's over. Adults are sometimes held in captivity, for sexual reasons, but abducted children are killed within 24h, typically. That's statistics.

But these people these men and women these divers these officers these Detectives, all deserve the utmost respect when it comes to finding missing children whether they be found alive or not.
