It also goes a long way to protect other potential victims who have seen the show. Even if the guy ends up arrested and charged, a lot of teens don't know how to look up a record. But they may recognize the name or face from the show. A good 2/3 end up charged and have to register as SOs. Jeff Sokol is one such. He was so well known due to the show that he actually petitioned to have his name legally changed & it was denied by the judge. That, that is why it's pertinent for it to be publicized. Lastly if youre at all familiar with tcap, you would see that the show/humiliation aspect was a big deterrent to the chomos. They would literally tell the decoy they weren't coming to meet them bc they were afraid it was tcap. That tells you the show works! As for the reason the show ended, the guy committed suicide and family sued the show...Good riddance to him. They shouldn't have canceled because a pedophile offed himself. They only stopped because he was a judge or lawyer and rich and had influence. Bs. They should Def bring the show back.

Yeah that always pissed me off.
