No kid would just "choose" to be a different gender! It's obviously not a choice. No one would choose to face discrimination. So therefore, no one should tell people what they are and aren't. Only you know what you are.

and here it is, 10 years after this episode aired, and transgender children are now illegal in 26 states! CPS is called by people who have neighbors that have transgender children to take them away from those "abusive parents". It makes me sick, and I'm ashamed to know that my state is one of those 26 backward looking states. I recently called out my governor, lieutenant governor and Congressman in an email with several points they just don't seem to give a damn about regarding what the transgender youth face and deal with every day, and their bullshit certainly isn't helping them, only making matters worse! I doubt my emails to them actually reached them, probably got deleted by some underling censoring everything going to their offices.

"Some people say support your child, let them live their life. Others say don't do that, that's the worst thing for your child." Is there even a question what should be done?? Supporting your child is the ONLY way to handle being a parent to someone.

well they mentally confused his gender. Quite literally. So a grasp on reality he may not have. When he figures out reality and comes to the realization he was born. And he had no choice. And no matter how much you visualize it as different than what it is. It's not. you're either born as the majority of normal male-female. Or nonnormal like a hermaphrodite. For something that nature. Normal as in being regular occurrence. Such as a male or female baby. Once he figures out science is real. And your concepts can be abstract. I think he will be mad at the ones who directed them down the path of your imagination is reality. see I found out the 70s they defunded mental hospitals. And released a lot of mentally ill people in the population. Very scary.

So much for a 10 year old to worry about. However, they appear to be so mature for their age. Great parents for accepting them and loving them for who they are not what their parents wish them to be.

marhoekful Yes scientifically proven medically safe hormone blockers. This delays the onset of puberty and gives the child time to better determine the path they wish their life to take. Puberty as the wrong sex is utter hell for a trans person. You argue to putting healthy, happy kids through utter torment and hell for your own twisted ideology as to how others should be living their life. For shame.
@syphorx7
@syphorx7 10 жыл бұрын
marhoekful Paedophilia analogy? Really? Serous? I hope you never have kids. You clearly have no ability to listen to the needs and desires of a child. As for psychologists or lawyers condoning this, they do condone this. A lot. Many, many trans kids have gone on hormone blockers with the aid of their gender therapists and the courts. Many have now grown up into happy and productive adults. Who are you to dictate to others how they should be living their life? You sound as though you would be quite happy to stand back and let young trans boys and girls kill themselves because they have been denied access to the hormone blocking treatments (and later hormones) that can improve the quality of their life dramatically. All this because YOU don't like the idea, as if you know anything about it. You wouldn't know the first thing about being trans. Just another cis ignorant.
@syphorx7
@syphorx7 10 жыл бұрын
marhoekful Oh please. You've already been told that all blockers will do is delay the onset of puberty. If a mistake has been made (and it rarely is for the record) then the child will just go through puberty at an older age when they stop taking the blockers. In how many ways and how many times do you need to be told that hormone blockers are medically safe before it SINKS IN!!!

Oh here we go, you move from one ignorance to the next. Now it's about how boys are raised and that if they're raised wrong they'll want to be girls. Nevermind that parents will often actively discourage such behaviour out of social pressures to the detriment of the child. Just accept that some girls are born with boy bodies and some boys are born with girl bodies. Jesus. You don't go through it yet you sit there acting like you know all about it.

marhoekful You're an ignorant twit, stuck on 'playing dress-up' idea, when while there are SOME who do that, many are genuinely born into a physical body which does not jive, does not match with their brain, their natural disposition of either male or female. NO one can force a child to be a boy/man if everything else (other than a penis) within the child is a female. Many parents try to ignore and or deny any kind of expression of femininity , thinking the child will 'outgrow' it. I read so many stories about transgenders, and some of them are so heartbreaking. Google: Leelah Alcorn . She was born with male body parts but knew as even a tiny child that she was a girl . Her religious mother was a monster, and made her life hell, telling her "God don't make mistakes" and punishing, and shaming her so bad that she went out and stepped in front of a semi truck on the Interstate----D E A D.....at 14 yrs of age. I hate that bigoted religious freak mother who drove that child to her death !

+Justine Stylinson Hello Justine. Just wanted to say you are 100% correct and that they aren't hurting anyone and no one has the right to tell them they are living a life that is "wrong". There is a saying: "Do not judge anyone else until you have walked a mile in their shoes". Not the original phrase but you understand what that means right? Anyways, as far as the comments, lots of stupid people in the world. You learn to laugh at them and know you are right as you get older. Most people can't be reasoned with because they don't use common sense or reason but emotion or what their wacked out parents believe. Laugh Justine. Learn to laugh because life is too short to be sad. :oD

No, they are not hurting me or others in any way, but that does not mean I and others can't raise doubts about what they are doing. If you believe that someone is going down a destructive path, would you not feel obligated to say something? In this case, I'm not sure if you can change your gender and if that is good/heathy, which is why I discuss with others to get closer to an answer.

I never understand why haters insist 'it's a choice - change it!!' - can they not SEE all the pressure and rejection these young children have to face? Very very few ADULTS could face that amount of hate and pressure - so that these children feel THAT strongly that they lose friends, school, EVERYTHING - should be proof enough it's not a 'choice'. What amazingly courageous young women. They have a huge amount to offer society and they have the right to be treated fairly. Cos how the hell can it affect anyone else if they wear a girls school uniform???!!!

Being trans is okay, nothing wrong with that. What bothers me is the fact that there is a relationship with clothing. Clothing is clothing. There is no natural scientifically substantiated fact for boys and girls clothing and is therefore not tied to gender. You do not have to be or become trans to be able and allowed to wear certain types of clothing that are assigned to a gender based on stereotyping thoughts. Clothing is genderless! You don't have to be a girl to wear a skirt or dress, and you don't have to be a boy to wear pants. This also applies to jewelry, make-up and other things. This is a fabrication of our narrow society. Time for change and acceptance in the interests of happiness, freedom and humanity.

The lawyer, near the end of the clip, speaks total sense about the job of an adult being to listen carefully to the child. If only more adults took that view, half of the rubbish in this World would probably disappear. It's not just genitalia - it can be internal such as internal testes or ovaries, it can be excess androgens or estrogen. It can be present only chromosomally, such as having XXY or XYY chromosomes. All of these (usually) don't present anything that would cause an average doctor to genetically test you. It took nearly two decades of my life to get anywhere with doctors.

Mmm. These two children are/were only ten. They saw that a (girl) wears pink, dresses, high heels, jewelry, and make up, and a (boy) wears pants, likes trucks, and plays roughly with other boys. Trey/tracy, with his ten year old mind, realized that he didn't like rough housing, and he liked dresses, thus he came to the conclusion that he /must/ be a girl because, well, he liked what (girls) liked. However, the girl and boy categories mentioned above are mere stereotypes. There are girls out there that like the color yellow instead of pink. There are girls out there that prefer pants over dresses. There are girls out there that take pleasure in capturing bugs and playing video games. Do these external things make her a he? Of course not. These external likings, however, seem to define who someone is in nowadays society, and it deludes people. Boys don't have to always be aggressive. There are many boys out there that are sensitive and would rather sketch or dance opposed to shooting his first duck with a bb gun. Does this make him a girl? Of course not. Since when were dresses only designated for girls/women? A couple hundred years ago males wore dresses and nightgowns. Since when was blue a boy color and pink a girl color? It's mere preference. People like simplicity, so stereotypes are formed. Stereotypes confuse others, and the stereotype that trey/Tracy wasn't a boy because he didn't like "boy" things confused him. But ultimately in the end, he's still a boy who merely likes pink (just another color in the color spectrum), doesn't like aggressive rough housing, and likes shoes that higher situate your heel. These preferences don't suddenly make him a girl.

I'm sorry but you are wrong it is not about what a color a person likes. Listen to what they say when they see themselves as a girl or boy they are telling the truth. Liking a certain color or toy only serves to reinforce what they know who they are.

Sorry, but you are definately wrong here. You are confusing gender expression with gender identity. The media does not help this image, actually, because they always pick children who are more stereotypically feminine or masculine. I am a transgender woman. I loved Star Wars, He-man and fighting boys. I hate pink, and really though Barbie was just trashy junk. I was a happy kid running around in my Spiderman Pygamas. I am not transgender because I liked those things. I am transgender because my brain was telling me I was a girl, and that my body was wrong. PIcture me as a little golden haired, happy go lucky boy growing up on a farm in the middle of suburbia. This happy little kid, for no reason- and barely able to string together a sence, tried to cut off 'his' penis. I was not because I was sickened or disturbed by it, my parents where great, caring and informative. It just didn't belong to me. I did it in a relaxed manner... I seriously thought it was like hair or fingernails... attached but not part of me and so it would not hurt. It wasn't mine. I wasn't supposed to have one, so I figured, hey... I will just trim it off. Problem sol...YOUCH! Turns out, it did hurt. Then, as I hit my teenage years I got seriously depressed and nearly killed myself a couple of times. Reason? No idea, at the time. I felt horrible. My girlfriends say I was handsome, but I looked in the mirror and felt ill. No idea why. Long story short, it turns out I was a victim of D.E.S. My brain developed female, as well as some internal things. I was not a boy. Years later, when trying to find why I couldnt conceive, I got the news. Pretty freaking weird, but suddenly a whole life of weird little things I did made sense. Why I wanted to be princess leia, not luke. Why I fancied 'dykey' looking girls with short hair, why my social group was almost all girls. Had I been given the right information at the right time, had the right health care, I could have had corrective hormones before puberty hit, and my life would not have been so confusing, dreadful and filled with suicidal thoughts. I would be the happy, healthy woman I am now. Only, I wouldn't have had to go through many hours of painful treatments to fix secondary sex characteristics and would have a twenties I could remember. So spare a thought for these kids. They are not mentally ill, they have an intersex condition. They need treatment, and they are getting it. Leave them to take the best path.

What no! My younger sister bites, and loves trains. But hell she knows that she's a girl. When she was younger, she was far from the pink and purple girl. These kids are smarter than you think. It's not even on preference on clothes or taste but literally, they want to be mommies, have boobs get married, give birth and get periods. Which I would easily avoid. Furthermore. Kids that young know whether they are girl or boys. When I was 9, I overheard this conversation between my mom and her friend talking about how Thailand sometimes kidnap men and force them to change into girls. That gave me nightmares because I thought someone could do that to me and I didn't want to be a guy. I literally couldn't sleep for a week be

I must ask -- have you ever stopped to wonder why there are so many transgender males in comparison to transgender females? I am, of course, not disqualifying girls in any way; there are many girls out there that feel they're really a boy, but I'm speaking in vast majority. I hypothesize its because a male's identity is largely taken on and learned, not inherently bestowed. In the womb, all children start out as female, and later on male genitalia develops. As the male infant grows after birth, little testosterone is present, and as you know, female children and male children share many similarities, such as high voices, same height, low stress tolerance, and so on. Male children need -- and I stress on 'need' -- a masculine, fatherly figure around to look up to and to take on that male identity -- they cannot learn it from women or other boys their age. With divorce rate so high nowadays and so many kid's living 90% of their lives surrounded by others the same immature age, it's no mystery why so many children are confused with what and who they are; of course I cannot extrapolate without evidence at my fingertips, but there is enough reason to assume. This also links with homosexuality and why many male homosexuals are quite, well, "feminine". It seems as though there was a disconnect with their male identity during childhood. I don't want to dig too deep into the subject of homosexuality because it's besides the point, but its just another example. In essence, I have reason to believe these children are confused. If I grew up around parents that taught me everything was relative, and that I can be whatever I want to be -- male or female despite what's down there -- I'd be a very, very confused child. Sometimes -- no, a lot of the time children need guidance, especially at such a tender age when they are still developing. I call it irresponsible parenting to neglect the enlightenment of the most rudimentary basics. If I had a child and it had a male genitalia, I'd say, " Honey, you're a boy" and of course never confine him to society's stereotypes. I wouldn't, however, kiss my son on the forehead and seriously say, " Now honey, what's between your legs means nothing, okay? You be whatever you feel like." Then my son would stare at me wide-eyed and tentatively inquire, "You mean I can be like Hopper -- a frog?" " 'Course."

The Bible says it’s because of sin that nature was corrupted and “thorns and thistles” entered the world. Romans 8:22 says, “We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time.” In other words, nature longs for redemption to come and for things to be set right. That’s the source of disorder and chaos. Let’s make this crystal clear once more: God did not create evil and suffering. Now, it’s true that he did create the potential for evil to enter the world, because that was the only way to create the potential for genuine goodness and love. But it was human beings, in our free will, who brought that potential evil into reality. Soo boo-hoo you and stop blaming god.

I don't know why people feel so strongly against this, as long as they're good people, being raised to be productive adults in society and are kind, who cares what gender a person associates with regardless of what role in reproduction they're biologically programmed to play. And I'm a Christian, and I don't think God made a mistake here, he made all transgendered people perfect just as He did everyone. And He loves them!

I'm MTF transgender too and I can really relate to this! I really hate it when people use the bible as a excuse to hate LGBT+. Honestly not everyone believes in god so they DON'T have to follow Bible says. Not to mention that there is no exact proof that he exists or not and we don't even know who wrote the Bible either so nobody should make anyone feel bad about themselves just because they think it's true! Also the Bible says that wearing clothing with more than one material and getting hair cuts are sins so we're all sinners so why does it even matter!? These people can believe as much as they like but no one should change their minds just because of a omnipotent being that we don't even know exists or not.

The irony is amusing considering that the LGBT is probably the most aggressive cult out there these days. The only difference is they call people bigots instead of sinners. Frankly, the Christians are more reasonable because at least they have some evidence for what they believe.

You're saying that you hate being called a bigot and yet you're being a bigot to us which make you a hypocrite! 2. We have evidence too! There are loads of scientific proof that LGBT exists and we already know it exists. Heck since we don't even know if god exists or not hating gays because the bible said so is like saying "Aliens came down to Earth to tell me to make up this argument." 3. Like I just said anybody that uses their god as a excuse to hate gays... just... don't even bother saying anything because their arguments are not going to change any of our views whatsoever.

You can't expect to attend a Catholic school and expect them to change their rules that are based on their religion to accommodate your child whether they be a boy or a girl or transgender. What if all of a sudden your child decided that they were Muslim... would you expect the Catholic school to accommodate you then? No... you would attend a Muslim school or a school that would allow you to practice your own religion. Same goes for this situation. I noticed that Tracy and Harriet, other than the genitalia, still have feminine features. Even at the age 10, most boys would develop a masculine frame such as the broad shoulders, longer feet etc. Tracy and Harriet have smaller shoulders and smaller feet than boys their age. Jazz (founder of Purple Rainbow foundation) also had wider hips than boys BEFORE she took the blockers. A lot of people don't know that the pre-natal maturation of sex involves the development of other features before the genitalia. The genitalia is determined by the third trimester. It very possible that these girls could have biological blueprints making them feminine. NOTE. This is just my hypothetical observation. Don't yell at me.

Only someone who doesn't experience gender dysphoria would say it isn't real or that it's just a choice. It has haunted me my whole life until it got to the point I couldn't endure it anymore, embraced the truth of who I am, and began my transition. It's the best decision I've ever made. My anger, anxiety and irritability have subsided tremendously, and I just feel balanced and sane for the first time. Being transgender isn't a delightful experience, but it's far healthier to live your life authentically than to repress who you are because of fear or denial. And it's nobody's place to decide what God's will is. It's quite clear that Nature makes mistakes all the time, and that has nothing to do with spirituality or some creationist rhetoric. The body does not determine its sense of identity anymore than a cup determines its contents or a musical instrument determines its own melody. It's just a vessel, and the vessel is not the soul.

A clinical psychologist who is an expert in the field of child psychology and behavior, and has observed/studied many cases of Gender identity problems in childhood. The majority of cases grew out of it. They went through puberty, and by 16 were happy with their born gender and sexual orientation. You are calling these boys, girls. Like its an open and shut case. Clearly they are boys playing dressup. Encouraged by their parents even. To misdiagnose this and put children on hormone blockers would be tragic and criminal. It has been proven to be a childhood behavior that is grown out of. Most cases, end up enjoying their born gender.

You know what, you are treating it as a closed case too. Do not tell me what I'm doing like it's a huge deal if you're going to do the exact same thing. These girls, regardless of who they may develop into in the future, ARE STILL GIRLS, even if just in the moment. And treating them like an abomination for exploring their gender will only oppress them and do them a great deal of psychological damage. Besides, I would absolutely love to see your sources on this, because I swear to you that I could match them with equal and better sources of studies they did proving these girls are fine. There is actual medical science behind this showing that the brains and hormone levels of people who are transgender or other marginalized gender identities are that of the gender (or lack of or combination of) that they identify with. In the case of these young girls, it can be medically proven that their psychological state and mental and medical states are that of their identity.

illogicalArtifact They are not girls. They are boys. Only a biased mind with an agenda would not acknowledge this. Playing dressup or pretend is quite common. If a human dresses up as a lion......It is not a lion. It is a human dressing up as a lion. I have seen a 12 year old girl pretending she was a horse. To the extent of galloping through a series of horse jumps. She was quite good at it. But nobody suggested she was a horse trapped in a humans body.

You are equating a gender, which is very real, to illogical and irrelevant things. As someone who follows psychology closely and almost religiously, I can guarantee you in all medical and psychological standpoints you are incorrect. Scientific studies done on children have proven that transgenderism is a real and urgent thing. Would you have these girls suffer for not being able to be themselves? Can you honestly be so cruel and awful to the point where you would cause a little girl pain by taking away her identity? What is your gender? Imagine everyone tried to force you to be the opposite of that, and only recognized you as the opposite of that. Any time you tried to explain what your gender was, everyone turned you away and denied it. That is what had been happening to these poor children. And if you can't suck it up and grin and bear it, against your beliefs or not, just to make a little girl's day, then in all honestly, you do not deserve to have or be around kids.

I even don't see why do they have to struggle like that. I mean if they want to be girl or boy, just let them be what they want. Their wish to be girl or boy doesn't affect anyone's life, doesn't hurt people so why is it so difficult for them to be themselves. I find that the most scary thing in the world is the way the society look at us, judge us when we are different in the way it is not supposed to be, but not everything different in that way is a bad thing. Accept it, world. Love is acceptance, that is so true

I was a patient at a hospital once after a suicide attempt. The nurse put me in a room with a male roommate. When I complained they ignored me and gave me anti-anxiety pills. I tried everything I could think of and they still ignored all the suffering they were causing. Eventually my parents showed up and straightened everything out. The nurse was moved off the unit and nearly lost her job. It's one thing to read scientifically illiterate things on the internet. It's quite another to have someone who should care for you abuse you psychologically. There's only one way I can sum up what that was like: I felt raped. And don't tell me that's an unfair comparison or that I'm denigrating rape victims. One of the male patients had to be removed from the ward because of the way he talked to the women (many of whom were rape survivors). He actually went so far as to try and feel up one of my friends. I could have been stuck in a room with him. If what happened to me had happened to an anatomically female woman, no one would question her feeling violated in the way I did.

The thing I don't understand about gender identity is that it is not biological, genetic or hereditary, it is a human invention based on our human experience. Sex is biological, that you cannot change. No one can infuse themselves with y chromosomes or get rid of them, but I guess I just feel like the debate of whether someone feels like a boy or girl puts too much importance on gender identity and roles. A woman should be able to engage in activities and roles which men have traditionally engaged in and vice versa while not having to be ashamed of they way they were born. I think that if the only way you feel you can be yourself is to change your body, then.. I don't really understand.

well the thing is that we actually can change our sex! in fact if you talked to most transgender adults they would tell you that they are uncomfortable with their BODIES not their GENDER. the modern understanding of what constitutes "sex" actually includes many other factors besides your chromosome (i.e. fat distribution, bone structure, hair growth, ability to carry a child, etc. etc.), so when a trans person undergoes hrt or get's any of the other related treatments we understand that as changes their person's "sex". idk if that answers your question at all! :3

You are quite wrong - many, many thousands of people are born 'intersexed' - about 1% of live births - where they are genetically neither male or female, and have very ambiguous genitalia. This is of course an outward, physical sign - but there are psychological signs as well, particularly as they grow up. This has prompted some countries to have a third 'sex' classification available to intersex people should they so wish to identify as such. Australia, Argentina and some European countries like Spain have three gender classes 'M', 'F' & 'X' as choices for legal status and is included in official documents such as passports. Gender identity disorder, which applies to these children here, is a recognised medical condition from which people suffer and rightly treatment is available. It is certainly not 'shameful', the world really is not as narrow as you appear to see it!

Children are know to play dress-up and pretend. I have seen Many, Many boys dressup as girls in early childhood for fun. And animals as well. They almost always grow out of it, go through puberty and are attracted to girls sexually. A child lacks the life experience, and hasnt gone through puberty to make such a Major life decision. The boys in this video are not having fantasies of Men sexually. The are playing dress-up. They are not gay. They are not homosexual. Going through puberty and gaining life experience is the only way to determine this. To put a child on hormone blockers, hormone treatment or even a sex change is nonsense. No lawyer or psychologist would suggest such a thing. You cannot drink alcohol until you are 21. You cannot have sex until you are 16. Yet you are able to have sex change when you are 10.

But even you can't find a link where a 10 year old has had a sex change. They may start living as the other gender at but no sex change. Mark Clink Hormone blockers, not sex change. I dont really care. I just put in my two cents. I listened to what a clinical psychologist, an expert in this field had to say, and She said that most cases grow out of it. They go through puberty, and end up happy with their born gender and sexual orientation. Therefore my personal opinion, is it would be tragic to misdiagnose a child, and put it on hormone blockers.
@markclink4956
@markclink4956 10 жыл бұрын
Nahanee Davidson See that is why hormone blockers are used. The blockers gives the child time to decide if they will grow out of it. If they do then the blockers are stopped. If they they don't the child keeps taking the blockers and then hormones are used. What you are not understanding is that going through a puberty that you feel is not right is hell. I am not blaming for not understanding as the fact that you are questioning this tells me that you are not trans*. To me it would be more of mistake to not take the blockers but than again I have never felt like I was in the right body so my experience maybe biased as I know what it feels like to go through the wrong puberty.
@itzyourcrayons

Nahanee Davidson " my personal opinion, is it would be tragic to misdiagnose a child, and put it on hormone blockers." and... i'm assuming in your personal opinion, those few cases where these kids don't grow out of it, it wouldn't be as tragic if that child goes undiagnosed.. suffering through an unwanted puberty and ending up miserable with their newly aquired sexual characteristics they didn't want in the first place. Yeah, it certainly sounds like you don't care. but the purpose of hormone blockers is to pause puberty in case there was a misdiagnosis or he or she decides they want to develope according to their sex. I don't think you put a whole lot of thought in your opinion. Leave the worrying and problem solving to the doctors, psychologist, parents , patients, and those who actually care, who are knowledgeable about the situation who are able to critically think, your 'two cents,' if it's even worth that, isn't needed.

I'm a bisexual Christian and I believe if God didn't want me this way, he wouldn't have made me this way. People are transgender because they're meant to be transgender. If God didn't want us "mistakes" and "issues" here, he wouldn't have let us exist at all in the first place. We're all the way we are for a reason.

If parents with a child who was born with a severe birth defect that killed 40% of people who have it came to that pastor and said "we're not getting it fixed because this is what God wanted" he'd say they were nuts. But fixing trans people's bodies to help them avoid suicide is "wrong."

"God doesn't make mistakes"? Okay, being transgender IS NOT a mistake. It's not "mismatched". It's just one kind of person. Trans people have always existed, there's nothing wrong with it, it's not an accident. We need to kill this thought, and learn how to use different language when referring to trans people. It's easy to understand the idea of a "girl in a boy's body"- but if she's a girl, then it's not a "boy's body". It's her body. it's a girl body. Regardless of the parts. Parts are just parts. Sex and gender are different, and they don't have to be the same.

i've also dressed as girls in my childhood days just for fun. but now i've grown out of it. my parents didnt suspect me of being transgender because they dont know anything about it. i know im NOT transgender. i was just curious. there days over educated parents push even small things like dressing up / make up as transgender and brainwash their children that they are transgender in an age when the child cant even understand what gender is. i think parents should wait for atleast for 10 to 12 years than to force their assumptions on their innocent children.

Why cant he accept himself as he is? so now hes in the process of transgendering into a female. They say that its having too many female hormones instead of having male hormone balance. vice versa for born females. Still cant get my head around it.

I am a transgender woman and I'll try explaining it. Nobody knows the exact cause of transgenderism, but we know that it is innate (i.e you are born with it). It is not something that you acquire, as many people think. Nor does it have anything to do with sexual orientation (i.e. who you are attracted to). The most plausible theory that I've heard of is that it is caused by the masculinization process of fetuses being interrupted (as all fetuses are female until the XY ones masculinize from a testosterone bath within the womb), meaning that the brain is not fully masculinized and therefore is still wired to receive estrogen(the main female hormone) instead of testosterone(the main male hormone), meaning that when puberty starts, the brain starts going crazy because it's getting the wrong hormones. This is why hormone replacement therapy almost completely removes gender dysphoria, since it gives the brain the correct hormones. Transgenderism is something we are born with, and does not go away with time,no matter how much we try to pretend it isn't there. It is not a product of today's society or social/cultural Marxism etc, it cannot be acquired. Transition is the best treatment we currently have, and your daughter has realised this and started transitioning. Message me if you have any more questions :)

We do know what creates transgender.... It's at eight to ten weeks gestation the female babies body is starting to form it's second fazr of gender. This is when a sudden and wrong burst of the opposite gender hormone is sent rushing through the little fetus and mistakenly created a penis rather than the vaginal opening. This is fact and can be seen in medical journals of credible countries. Don't think because you say it's not real that it makes it so. Just like when a baby is formed without limbs...it doesn't make them a potato it makes them a baby lol. My point is if one thing can go wrong so can others.

"God doesn't make mistakes" So first of all, they are referring to us as mistakes. Second, how can you even base your opinion off something that hasn't been proven. You don't know if there is a god. Why does everyone have to disagree with this. These girls are 10 years old. Are they personally hurting you? No, they're not. So just let them fucking live their lives and be happy like normal people. We all have an equal shot at life. I thought my country would be more accepting.

I've watched a brief amount of this clip (so this could be covered) but I think a young boy wearing pink fairy wings and wanting to wear dresses doesn't necessarily mean he wants to be a girl. I think people very often confuse societal stereotypes for gender with actual personal identity to gender. In reality, there's not much difference in the identity without the societal ideals.

Yes, but there are boys in jungles who want to be girls. There are trans girls and women (born biologically male) who don't like "girly" stuff, just as there are girls born girls who would rather play with tractors and toy guns. I do think, though, if your brain tells you you are a certain gender (whether your genitals agree or not), there is a tendency to gravitate toward whatever your culture says is "feminine" or "masculine." Those kids living in the jungle understand that there are males and females just as well as we do, they just express those states differently.
@KidsWithGuns1992
@KidsWithGuns1992 10 жыл бұрын
Melanie Greenwood I think that's an interesting point, but I don't necessarily believe it to be valid. I'm a woman and identify as so, but I've always gravitated towards what society would call masculine ideals. I have short hair that is partly shaved, I have somewhat masculine affectations and I only ever wear pants and shirts (I don't wear dresses). I also have very feminine friends (who wear dresses and have long hair and fit into the female stereotype) but who ride motorcross bikes and practice karate and fighting sports. I just think there's too much of a need to put things into categories - people aren't that simplistic.

U know heroin feels amazing, should we just be ok with people shoving needles on their arm cause it makes them "feel" better? The answer is no, not everything that "feels" good is good. In fact many things that "feel" good destroy us because the feeling deceives us. The fact that trans folks continue to alter and mutilate their bodies in order to be happy is a sign of a serious mental instability, because they obviously aren't satisfied in their own skin. A child could see that there's a problem here and the solution isn't to allow people to mutilate themselves to the point that there is no going back.

That is not true. Children are known to play dressup and pretend. Second. The parents of these children are encouraging it. Third. A clinical psychologist has studied this childhood behavior, and most of the children grow out of it. They go through puberty, and by 16 are happy with their born gender and sexual orientation. To misdiagnose these children would be tragic and criminal. One of the kids said "What if I am a boy inside, and a girl outside" "If I am a boy mommy, would you still love me" They still put him on hormone blockers. Children are acknowledged to lack the life experience to understand who they are, whats best for them, etc.......People grow, change, etc.......Do you still play in the sandbox? Do you still play with dolls? Most people grow out of this.

I have grown up as the same I identified myself as a female, but my family told me otherwise, wanted me to be the gender I was assigned so there was alot of confusion and hold backs, until my late 20's was when I was finally getting my family to understand that I was transgender and a female, yet there are still hold backs and a lot more I would like to change even the scars on my wrists say the same thing, be free, be who you really are heck its only a letter on ID's and birth certificates, its only two extra letters in the full name and yes I am a true Female! and I find comfort and happieness in that, its not a fantasy, its not a fetish, its none of that its matching my mind with my body as much as I possibly can, despite my 5 oclock shadow I myself will be as clean shaven as much as possible, be as feminine as possible, from the scent I give off, to how I dress. I say deal with it! you may look and talk with yourselves but dont confront me and be rude.

+Shteena M Sorry but no-one is "allowing" their child to change gender. They are simply allowing the child to live life as the gender they've always been. Refusing to do so would be child abuse - there is a reason that over 40% of transgendered youth attempt suicide (the norm for all teenagers is about 4%). The biggest single reason? Their parents don't accept them for who and what they are.

Sam Adams how can a child just decide to wanna be the opposite gender??? Children need parents to make decisions for them. They kill themselves because it's the devil getting into their heads, brainwashing them that they shud be the opposite sex. The Devils #1 plan is to seek, kill & destroy. So when there are vulnerable ppl, the devil gets in. Don't be fooled, it's chromosomes that define gender, not feelings!!!! Have these children seen their DNA? That's right no they haven't. You wanna belive in science, that's your most absolute answer: science and DNA. Can't deny that even apart from God.
