Nice to see you back. Just curious, did you ever do a review of the Jacksonville Michael Dunn case when he senselessly killed Jordan Davis. His most recent appeal was thrown out. He’s in the Florida Penn for the rest of his life, and I believe rightfully so. There was a lot of argument in the trial that fell back on Treyvon Martin/George Zimmerman. I would enjoy knowing your thoughts on that case.

Man, only $50k for attempted murder, even with priors and a bench warrant. .. My husband (soon to be ex) when arrested for domestic violence against me, his bail was set at $250,000. With no priors, other than a DUII. He’s from a wealthy family so he was bailed out within hours. I still can hear the astonishment in the lady’s voice when she called me to let me know his bond was paid. Her asking what his family did for a living. She’d never seen someone with such a high bail be bailed out so quickly, in cash. Anyway though, It’s crazy how someone with priors, hit with a attempted murder charge, bail set that low. When another, who has no priors, on a DV charge, has bail set at a quarter million dollars. Crazy.

Hello Mr. Rivers, I have a question for you. In the case of Joshua Bell. I doubt you'll know anything about this case because I dont remember it being a huge national story or anything so I'll try and give a brief summary of it. So Courtney Nero was suspected of murdering Joshua Bell (via gun). Upon interrogating Mrs. Gary in regards to the killing of Josh she contradicted herself several times and made several statements that could be viewed as incriminating for Nero and clearly wasn't giving the full truth (she was a witness). March of 2016 Nero was arrested and charged for the second degree shooting of Joshua Bell. In May 2017 the defense requested a continuance while they searched for 2 eye witnesses. In June 2017 Mrs. Gary claimed that she was drunk at the time she made her statement and was forced by the police to say what she did at the time of her interrogation. She then claimed that she had no memory of the event and she would not be willing to testify. Each time she was subpoenaed she "coincidentally" had health issues that prevented her from appearing in court. Because defendants have the right to a speedy trial the states time ran out and Courtney Nero was set free and nothing more was done to bring the murderer of Josh Bell to justice. What are your thoughts? Can you explain how the (for lack of a better term) "loophole" allowed her to not testify regardless of the subpoenas enabling the defendant to walk free?
