We had a case in Texas with a man who hurt (can't remember if he raped or killed her) a young woman. Her dad gave a victim impact statement, then leaped over the table and pounded the defendant as hard as he could until the deputies pulled him off the guy. As this is Texas, the father faced no changes.

My parents traveled to Europe early 80s, while in Hungary, a 5 yers old girl was hit and injured by a drunk driver...the cops there let the family have a minute with him before arresting him. Wonder if they still allow that and how we could get that here.

I know the case your talk about it was a college gymnastics coach touching many of the girls. The dad of one of the girls did leap over the desk and try ro start hitting the guy but he didn't really get any punches or hits in after the initial tackle. The officers got him off the guy really quickly. But yes he did get 0 charges against him cause the judge understood the assignment. I would also like to add before doing all that he asked the judge to grant him 5 minutes in a locked room alone with that guy (the coach) and the judge said like obviously not. So the guy then said 1 minute, judge said no again. That is what made the guy leap a solid 6-8 feet over a desk (maybe it was just the partition) to tackle the guy. It's a fantastic clip, it was caught on court cam. You may also be talking about another case where basically the exact same thing happened but I forget the details of that case. Again just the tackling no hits in after it really.

The guy who tried to attack Nassar was a local hero here in Michigan (it was local here) for a week or so. If I recall correctly he didn't have charges brought against him and his union (you can which see on his shirt) payed whatever expenses he had from missing work or whatever. I understand why Bruce can't endorse that behavior but Randall Margraves is a legend.

12:48 father heard things during the trial that he had no idea about. He knew that Larry Nassar had assaulted his daughters but he did not have all of the details until he sat through the trial, w his daughters by his side. It had to have been heartbreaking! And for that monster to just sit there and pretend like he did nothing wrong is just disgusting on a million levels!

The man who said "I'll see you in 10 years" wasn't a witness. That was Alex Zaldivar's father who had every right to be emotional after his 19 year old son was killed execution style by 27 year old Bessman Okafor during a home invasion the purpose of which was to murder witnesses the day before they could testify in a home invasion trial. But I actually think the statement is being misconstrued (even by those involved who took it as a threat). Rafael Zaldivar was incredibly frustrated and vocally critical of the Judge, County and State over essentially a shell game with the death penalty, Nolan Darnell Bernard and Bessman Okafor both had lengthy violent criminal records and they committed premediated murder with the express purpose of eliminating witnesses in their other trial yet because of really a shocking level of sloppiness on the part of the court they kept being able to avoid the death penalty. I believe what Rafael actually meant was "this whole thing is such a mess that it will take at least 10 years for me to see you actually tried for the death penalty." Not "I'll attack you myself in 10 years" especially because there was no chance any of the defendants would even be out of prison in 10 years. I know this is a long comment on a 5 month old video so it might never get read, but I think it's worth clarifying. It's also worth noting that this case was from 2013 and 10 years later Rafael is still fighting on behalf of his son. Rest in Peace Alex Zaldivar

Maybe it's understandable but it's nothing to be celebrated. The dad getting a charge doesn't help no one. In fact he fucked over his family as he might go to jail and not be there helping his family grief and heal at the least he now has the additional stress of being prosecuted. When you have the urge to "do what you gotta do" get some weed (or something) and stay home. If you know that you won't be able to contain yourself it's no use to even show up.

@@cyan_oxy6734 i smoke weed so that is exactly what i would do, but given the circumstances i believe if the father didnt try to do what he did , I believe he couldnt live with himself if he didnt at least try to go after the assaulter. He knew the consequences and he knew the reprecussion i just give massive respect because who else would go that far? sure its not good legal wise in our countrys laws. But I think he would get massive respect from the inmates after hearing what he did, and he proved the deep rooted love of his daughters by attacking the attacker, this is just my opinion and honestly i'm glad some people dont agree with me it would be a boring world if we all agreed upon the same things

I know it’s been extensively covered but I’m curious about what you think of the Jon Bonet Ramsey case, the brother and Dr. Phil’s coverage /interview with the brother (which didn’t seem overly objective). If I remember correctly, Dr. Phil had the same lawyer as the family.

9:03 I think Darrell Brooks looked like that when he committed those horrible crimes. He had that exact look on his face.

The final story about the large client threatening to jump the prosecutor was extremely funny & well told, but I guarantee you he did not have the faces of his 3 children tattooed on his forearm: this was a bit of strategic misinfo by BR, casually strewn in there to throw off any champion truffle-pigs who may wish to follow a trail. Nice work!

Truth be told, I don't think anyone in that room blamed that dad for wanting to take his daughter's abuser out.

Binge watching you right now. I'm loving your personality 😎 I would like you to look at the case that's going to come up. Looking through the supposed evidence of the bridge guy. Might stop a lot of speculation. sorry can't think of the name of the case. But im guessing it's high profile. Thanks Bruse 🤞
