Crinum Lily Care Tips

I have a yard filled with the light and darker pinks. They multiply kinda quick. I just love these. I live in SC and they seem to thrive in our humid weather.

In my family Crinum bulbs are cultivated for at least 50 years, and them are really gorgeous. Flowers are very delicate in color and flavour, fragrance is a bit cinnamomic. Nice fellows :)

Jenks, any idea or experience with how crinums fare in the Pacific Northwest? We're zone 8, as is South Carolina, but I can tell you our weather is quite different, cool dry summers in the 70s, and winters, wet and in the 40s. Any insight would be appreciated, including hardiness ranges.

My Crinum Lilies appear to die off completely for about one month and then almost overnight the stalk shoots out of the ground, grows rapidly and flowers. After about six weeks the flower dies and the leaves come back. I notice your lilies flower with the leaves still in bloom.
