Crispy Eddie Gilbert Promises Jerry Lawler The Last Laugh (1988) Memphis Wrestling

After being badly burned by Jerry Lawler in a match at the Mid-South Coliseum, a recovering Eddie Gilbert finally tapes an interview concerning his $25,000 bounty on Lawler's leg. Suffering a bad facial wound, Eddie is clearly insane now as he rambles about his bounty mixed with personal threats against Jerry's family followed by a sick laugh to dispell any disbelief.

Gilbert lawler feud was insane. Gilbert was a cool heel. The fireball used by Gilbert and lawler angle was crazy.

It looks more like a sandsandpapering job. Sandpapering is very common in the wrestling business as it makes for a quick realistic burn wound. Makeup would look too fake.
