As someone who is in remission from cancer for me being in the cancer ward every day for almost 2 years for chemo and radiation the saddest part of going in to recieve treatment was looking and talking to the children who were there because of cancer and their treatments, I had to try and hold back my tears in front of these brave little children every time I saw them. Now I'm 6'5 and 260lbs. and used to be a street fighter. I don't think there is anything worse then going to the hospital and finding out that one of these children who i would talk to has passed away from this illness. I would of graciously given my life to any of these great brave little children. I broke down crying the first time this happened. God saved me from this illness so far and we need to contribute so much more to these children so they have the God given right to live their lives. Thank you Dee for standing up for these beautiful little children.

Heard this song 6 years ago when it came out and it made me tear up. Six years later my son 7yr old son was diagnosed with Stage 4 alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. We've been fighting for almost a year and he has never given up once. Refused to shave his head until he was ready, and he ended up shaving my head. Life will never be as it was, but my faith and relationship with my wife and all my kids are stronger than ever. Every day is a fight and a blessing. Dad's fight for your kids and wife. Don't neglect them, don't cop out, and don't make excuses. Be a man. Moms stay strong.

This is a GREAT version of the song. My mom and I loved this song 'well the original version anyway". She just passed away at the end of "Sep" and she never got to hear this version but she would have loved it if she did! Hearing we're not going to take it like this really puts a whole new meaning and fell on it since she passed away. It's an incredibly deep powerful spiritual vibe that I get from it now and it was never that way when she was alive.

Though people saw him as a “dirty image”, you gotta look past some of the surface and realize that he has got a real heart. He never seemed to be a picture of drug use, but clean living. Not to mention his devotion to his wife for 40 years, never getting caught up with all the groupies. I love the guy! God bless

I found this by accident during an evening of nostalgia. I wanted to share the music of my youth with my daughter. Twisted Sister helped me survive an abusive childhood. The confidence this song inspired stuck with me through my daughters health issues even if the actual song was a distant memory. Nothing hurts worse than watching strangers carry your child away while hoping desperately they can return her in better health. The helplessness is soul crushing. If only we could trade places, if only there was a god who could shift the punishment to me, I earned it, and spare my innocent child... If only, if only... I had to watch this video three times before I could make it to the end. I'm lucky, my child survived and thrived. I agonize with those who weren't so lucky. Thank you Dee Snider and Criss Angel for reminding us lucky ones we are lucky, for giving a voice to those in too much pain to speak. Please, if you can, donate. Time. Money. Sympathy. A hug. Any help is appreciated more than you can imagine.
