The problem with Loki, as with all MCU villains from Phase 4 on is that they've all been domesticated. We wanted wolves and they gave us golden retrievers.

I think we can agree that any member of a cast like the Avengers does not need us to hold their hands. They either defend themselves or call their lawyers. No point sitting judgement over those people. Also, this scenario might not be too different from the problems you might experience in your own job. So what gives?

Regarding daily wire snow white i dont see the difference between putting it behind a paywall and the cost of a cinema ticket. I agree its still going to impact a much smaller group but its not like they were going to get this in the cinema chains. Even if they had the money for that distribution it would only take a dark glance from disney for the chains to refuse to run it or you would end up with activists out protesting the movie. They are distributing it the only way they can.

They can make it so you can just buy or "rent" the film as opposed to subscribing. I did not enjoy my subscription there, it was a very clunky user interface/web design and the customer service was ass, but that was quite a while ago, maybe they improved.

I think that's my biggest issue with the DW critique, being behind a paywall. Its not like Disney is gonna be giving free movie tickets for their version, and it'd be easy enough to just have a rent/buy the movie option. I will agree, im sure how much impact it will have, but at least its something instead of just complaining.

Critical Drinker appears to be presenting a better take on The Snow White film. There is a growing segment of America is yearning for more traditional content. Nothing at all against Baggage Claim and Chris Gore, because I like them both. I must say though that their location in California might slightly skew their perspective of what a lot of Americans are yearning for. It should be noted that the Daily Wire has been trying to create their own content for a few years now. They also recently started some content release geared toward children. All that to say that I don’t perceive their making their own version of Snow White is meant merely to get at Disney. Personally, I would say that Disney should take note of all the competition surrounding them. Mr. H, Daily Wire has several original films in its collection.

Pretty brutal take on the new Snow White. If they start to make fairytale movies based on the original Grimm & other time less tales, I think that's awesome. There is a huge black hole for family movies that you can enjoy with your kids. At least they are creating something instead of just bitching about how bad Hollyweird has become. A theater movie is technically 'behind a paywall' too. I'm choosing to be hopeful for small budget independent films like this (with respect)❤️🇺🇸❤️

Same reason Ben Affleck was reluctant to play Batman/Bruce Wayne - he bombed the Dare Devil already and learned how shitty it was being attacked by millions of comic-book-guys for years. "Worst.... Daredevil... ever!" I personally thought his Dare Devil and his Batman was pretty good, but the box-office said otherwise for Dare Devil and the terrible writing killed his Batman. So for Chris Evans, he was probably using Affleck as a warning for his 2nd attempt at comic books.

When someone called the 2nd new Snow White “Ben Shapiro in a wig” I lost it and couldn’t stop thinking about it. As an American our cultural identity has been split into two extremes on either end of the spectrum and the tale of two Snow Whites almost perfectly represents that dichotomy. It’s a tit for tat national dialogue where we’re all in this circular p1ss1ng contest together as our economy slowly collapses.

But I’m quite sure the spirit of your comment is a gaslight meant to push me into a convenient liberal box and indirectly announce yourself as a conservative. We can assume based on their words and actions that they only care about their image, not actual results. What else do you expect us to assume from the dozens of "sold out yet barely full" theaters we saw during the runs of several movies? If not Disney themselves, someone has been buying tickets in bulk that haven't led to asses in seats. Brie is essentially just like her character. She was given this role without paying any dues, like Capt Marvel was given her powers. Mr H the guy to bemoan the erosion of entertainment and then dump on tje greenshoots of rebellion. Every big movement starts with people starting to take action. GG Daily Wire for doing something. And well said Baggage fantastic point about not just criticising but cresting change.

And on the point of them "not making unique content", they are. They launched a kids-channel with unique wholesome content, adding classic fairytale stories to that makes sense. I hope they redo a lot of classic tales to give parents a chance to introduce their kids to them without the Disney tampering.

How many times do you have to say it's behind a pay wall. Disney+ is behind a pay wall, and people have to pay to see movies in a theater.

Actually Disney does care. They’ve already tried to sue the Daily Wire.

@@AcidifiedMammoth Disney owns the original Snow White story, and they thought the daily wire were going to copy that story so they tried to sue them, but of course it didn’t work out well for them.

As I've been saying, Captain Marvel made NO sense to introduce the way they did. Nova would've made far more, but nope. Instead, they are planning to release him (god please, him) AFTER Thanos destroyed his home world. They just had to get that unstoppable woman in the movies.

That man doesn’t get enough credit for his acting abilities. Criminally misused in the MCU

If they say things they don't mean, then it's their own fault for not having a spine. People are judged by what they say and do. So you should probably just say what you actually mean, and not be judged for someone else's words.

In Serenity the villain is actually giving orders to the guy he's killing's assistant while casually killing him! Love that character and also the first times I seen him in anything.
