Teal inner border is just right for this quilt. I'm about halfway thru . I've started experimenting beyond quilting cottons. Tulip 🌷 parade was fun! I was really struck by the one with the psychedelic background 😮and the 2 tone one reminded me that Kendall did a 2 tone but different fron this one. What about coral tulips ? There are really so many gorgeous colours! Here in Canada 🇨🇦 we owe our abundance of tulips to Queen Beatrice of the Netherlands 🇳🇱 as she was born in a hospital room here in Canada.! The room itself had to become Dutch owned ! Incredible story eh ❤️🌷😀 This was so she could be crowned Queen one day! There gov sends our gov in Ottawa them every year and you can see them displayed around the parliament buildings! Those animals are so darling 💗 and now seeing the squirrel 🐿 I just might have to try one of those lol . Go easy on all that sugar and remember Greg and Pat to brush your teeth 🪥❤😁

I love inner borders too! They just seem to finish the top. Your teal Porch Swing fabric is very pretty and perfect for the inner border. I think any other color wouldn't get the same cohesive result. The pink outer border is perfect too! I'm looking forward to making the tulip wall hanging. I just told my daughter the other day that it would make a beautiful quilt. The tulip parade was awesome! I also really enjoyed seeing all the pics with borders. I haven't decided on my border colors yet--I keep switching my same size blocks around to spread out colors. Loved the Critter Parade! Thanks for listing links for the patterns, Pat. I just ordered the Penguin Party Pattern to make something for my son--he loves penguins.

Loved all the tulips! Growing up, we never planted tulips, but some came up in the lawn every year. Dad would mow around them for a few weeks until they wilted. Then he would mow through them, thinking he killed them; but next spring, they were back! So many Peeps, we don't have that many north of the border.

Yes, to the inner border and to the final color for your wide outer border! It brings all of the various colors and patterns together with the consistent inner border that matches the chain. The "pink/magenta" outer border picks up the some of the colors from the main part of the top. Looks good.

Hi Pat! I couldn't stop looking at your block-a-day quilt! Love the teal border with the floral outer border 💗💗 I looked but didn't see a link for the bunny critter block-never mind, I actually saw it on Pinterest. Love them all! Barbara DID outdo herself on this box! Oh my, all those peeps & the book-who knew?? Have to say you got me started on the peeps on the coffee thing 🤣🤣 Randy laughed the first time I did it! Back around Christmas I found some peppermint ones with the chocolate on the bottom & they were just yummy as I change up which creamer I use. But I use the Peppermint Mocha the most!
