What´s very important to note is - Bearweaving is only worth it, if you don´t fuck up your cat rotation by doing that. If you can´t do it properly than just don´t do it! 1st master your cat rotation 2nd try Bearweaving

Blows my mind NOBODY corrected Sarths question on the fact that Berserk only makes Mangle cleave in bear form...not cat. Only time you should Zerk on trash is if it's a big pack that actually stays alive longer than 7 seconds, and be off cd for the upcoming boss. Which probably will never happen in Naxx :P

Ferals are mental and deserve more respect from other classes. They might not be pushing the top of the meters (yet...) but the amount of time and dedication they put into perfecting their class is on another level. If effort equalled damage output they'd be double any other class.

i liked the podcast but this rugs guys was acting like a child the whole time when the other druid players were talking. It's like he can't compute someone else having different idea's / opinions. He was like look at me i'm right, these idiots are wrong and have no idea what they're talking about.

Yeah sadly not the first time either. Although it might be friendly banter it's the same behaviour towards Zirene when talking about tanks. From a viewers perspective whom doesn't know the relationship between the two (I'm still unsure if friendly banter or hostile), it seems like Rugs made up his mind about "Best class/comp/items" for classes a while ago, before beta even. Zirene is talking about a SR comp consisting of Warrior and Druid tanks, with Druid going cat on solo tank fights and Rugs is just slamming it to the ground before Zirene even finish talking. Liked and watched a lot of Rugs' own videos were no one contests his opinions, but rolling your eyes and shaking your head live on camera to people that has spent probably close to 100 hours TC something for the community FOR FREE just comes of as ignorant.

It's not to bad tanking as a MS cat but you definitely feel squishy, 4% dmg reduction 6% dodge and potentially armor and frenzied regen glyph etc, def griefing the healers a bit on a hard hitting raid boss In terms of dps I think cat swipe is potentially just untapped atm, in nearly every group, and couple of raids I have been in the pulls and pacing is terrible for feral, when every one actually chills a second for the tanks to properly group alot of mobs tightly swipe pops off, with savage up, tigers fury, and omen proc if your lucky was hitting 20k aoe packs in spider wing, I can't help but wonder it's potential if played purposely to maximise with big pulls at a nice speed, giga pulls with crazy burst aoe on top of barkskin/survival instincts/even +20% healing received if wanted from talents 😄 I can see something crazy being possible of some one worked on it

That BiS list is seem very theoretical, prioritizing str over agi and a 40% bear uptime. Too recommend that to the community seems like it needs a strong disclaimer. Also from 10+ years of sims experience, to get a stable or accurate stat weight for hit is very difficult and needs also to consider realistic human reaction times to act on a miss. Agree with rugs totally on the bis list.

People don't realise how close stat values are and dismiss them as being horrible because it's not what you're used to. They wouldn't recommend it if it was drastically different. They clearly have numbers for things, instead of just feelscrafting like Rugs is. Doesn't mean agi isn't better for the situations just strength would be better in others

@@Roach9994 Rugs isn't feelscrafting, he makes a very good point that the strength DMC comes with a big caveat. In general, he seems to be more in-tune with realistic raid performance. The Discord guys are both new to WoW in general and are consumed by their simulations without consideration for actual raiding. Neither of them parse very well while he is world ranked which I think speaks for itself. Sims are fantastic, but like literally any model in a professional field, they are always "wrong." They're only as good as their assumptions, and the biggest one in WoW sims is that the fact that you're standing still and 100% focused on rotation like a machine. This is NOT the case in most actual gameplay. Bearweaving at all is going to be very difficult for at least 90% of Ferals, let alone maintaining perfect uptime. The resistance to even putting a disclaimer on their BiS list is kinda weird.

@@PrecursorLegend I think you're being a bit dismissive of the people that theorycraft things. They get how things interact in the real game, and get stat values which work. People dismiss stat values as being useless when they aren't (ie using SP weapon for Physical enhance is the bis weapon in p1) doesn't make intuitive sense but it's been found out to be true... since this podcast it also seems that Str>agi for cat swipe... so it doesn't even have anything to do with keeping up Bear weaving its just a better stat. Shall see how it changes. The main issue I have is how dismissive Rugs is of new developments. I'm not saying he is wrong about everything just clearly did not handle the conversation like an adult.

People were running t5 till fking prepatch... mage 2 piece, vashj belt, vestments, rogue trinket, warrior trinket, KT neck, KT physical ring(wasn't still bis but solid option still), bis for certain classes/specs still in BT some even held up into sunwell. And obviously ashes... Heck mages were using MQG from bwl in tbc and rogues were going back still in prepatch for rod of the sunking which is looking like a bis aoe dps weapon for rogue in wotlk still 😄

I think that always shows up a bad over all mentality for min maxing, hit has an equivalent dps gain like every stat, there's been many bis lists for classes under cap in previous phases as it's simply not always worth the sacrifice in other stats to achieve it. The energy return from special misses and AP scaling from talents and rip definitely lowers its equivalent value from before too, only counter argument I could see coming up would be if it negatively impacted your omen procs

have to disagree, as someone that played retail wrath once togc is released Ulduar is a dead raid. Other than mount runs theres literally no reason to do it anymore; if ilvl and stats are left the same as they were on og release

Yeah this is just wierd mentality. Everyone knows the playerbase follows the path of least reisstance. If ToGC is such a massive leap in ilvl then no-one in normal playerbase will do Ulduar = Dadgamers will burn out faster doing a monotonous dungeon = entire game suffers
