you just saved my life, I have like 500 squares that I need to make into a blanket!!! I hate to sew!
@Ozgrandmother11 жыл бұрын
For lining bags I buy pillow cases and cut following the bag where the 'pointy' bits are , the bits where you sew the handle. So, imagine a 'square' with triangles on top. It's hard to describe. Put the pillow case flat on the table. Put your bag on top and with a pen mark around the pointy bits , making sure you mark it a cm away from the pointy bit, so that you can fold neatly and sew it. Also turn the pillow case inside out before putting it and sewing it in the bag. Overall you only have to sew the top of the bag as the side and bottom are already sewn being a pillow case. It's the easier way I found to do a lining plus I buy a pillow case a colour that works with the colours or the bag. Hope this can help :)

Yes 17 squares us the amount you use :) What do you mean by holes, is it just the gaps between the crochet or has it unraveled ? You could make a linning, I am not sure how to do this as i am not a good sewer thank you for watching

May I understand why you do not put the face/right side of squares facing each other to stitch yah?
@CrochetwithClare6 ай бұрын
@schua2201 sure, because I want the joining on the right side. If I join with right side face, the joining will be on the wrong side if my work.

Dina Neal Hello, I am not sure how to do that, if i come across a way to do it I will be sure to share a video
@kellihinojosa58837 жыл бұрын
Dina, I'm not sure if you figured out how to crochet on other textiles yet but I know how if you haven't . I bought a rotary cutting tool online which punctures holes into your material. you'd also want to get a cutting board so you don't ruin your table or anything else. use fabric chalk or markers to measure evenly across where to run your tool across. then start a sc across the front side of your material and then all you have to do is follow whatever trim pattern you are using or whip stitch on your row of granny squares.

I'm struggling with how to join crocheted hexagons. I want to use single crochet. I want to see the ridge that is formed. Any suggestions? Thank you.
@CrochetwithClare7 жыл бұрын
Hello, hmm I have never done hexagons like that, I think because you have to go around so many side is will be tricky

i cant find the stitch where i fastened off. did i do something wrong??
@CrochetwithClare8 жыл бұрын
the stitch will be right under where the yarn is coming out from. it will look like a small knot. you can also find it by using the double crochet bars to count the stitches to the one where you joined the round
@tmccle8 жыл бұрын
i understand where the stitch should be but mine doesnt look like a stitch it looks like a knot. wont stitch the count be off
